Playing Animal Crossing New Leaf, Legend of Spyro The Eternal Night(GBA, Wii), Legend of Spyro Dawn of the Dragon(PS3), Legend of Spyro A New Beginning(GCN), and Legend of Zelda Oracle of Seasons/Ages.
Anybody here even buy Animal Crossing New Leaf, or was I the only one?
[QUOTE="DrAwesomeMD"]Bought The Last of Us and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2.meetroid8
How's Last of Us? I was thinking of buying it, but I'm not sure if I want to pay the full $60. Different people have been telling me totally different things about how scripted and cut scene ridden it is.Â
Dunno, I decided to play Ultimate Alliance first.

I know someone who did, they didn't seem too impressed.Â
I beat The Last of Us today and it's definitely one of the greatest games I've ever played. There are a good amount of cutscenes, but they're so well done I didn't mind them. Honestly, I think the game is just a tad bit overrated. There were a few moments that broke the whole immersion, but they weren't that big of a deal. I just don't think it's gaming's Citizen Kane moment, though that gets tossed around more than it should.n33d2skateI think that only get's tossed around because it's the end of the gen and there are much fewer good games about. It can be quite easy to overrate a game when the industry is having such a dry spell.
Played the Dark Arisen expansion, those guys are tough, got tensed allot of times.
but well, but awesomeness just beat them.Â

Beat The Last of Us. Easily my favorite game of the year so far and one of the absolute greatest games I've ever played.
Like, holy shit. I just have so many f*cking feels right now. Joel was a great protagonist and I don't think I've ever gotten so attached to and felt so protective of a character like I have Ellie. Good job Naughty Gods, I can't compliment this game enough.

I was bored so I reinstalled Borderlands. This game is really tough solo, a lot slower than co op too. I think I might prefer it to the co op a little. meetroid8
My brother has started playing it after I bought it for him a while ago. Naturally he hates Skags and quick respawn rates now.
Playing Warcraft III over the last few days, attempting to squeeze out whatever life is left in it. And after downloading a keymap editor for the game (something I should've done ages ago), playing a bit more Torchlight as well.
Feel much more comfortable with my Diablo setup...
I played Total War Shogun 2 for like 30 hours in one week. I've been wanting a good strategy game for the longest time.Â
Bulletpoint was the best game I've played all year, but then it ended after two hours.
Bleed is a good SHMUP, same problem. Too short. Â

For a second, I read Bulletpoint as Bulletstorm and I was about to cry.Â

Oh yeah, Bulletstorm. I remember that game. It was... exactly what it tried to be, I guess. Â

Profanity: The GameÂ
[QUOTE="n33d2skate"]I enjoyed it. Though I only bought it for the gears 3 beta.Profanity: The GameÂ
Overlord93
Not a bad game. Trying to get the trick shots was pretty fun. Just wish it had more enemies, and more interesting ones.

Yeah, it felt a little repetetive at times, but I liked the concept of it.It seems I had a little more money saved away than I thought...
So yeah, just bought Bioshock Infinite.
Celldrax
I like that game a whole lot, yessir!Â
I don't know about anyone else, but this steam sale is kind of boring. I don't see anything I even remotely want.Overlord93
I see a lot of things I bought for a higher price and now wish I'd waited for. Tomb Raider and Total War Shogun 2 in particular (especially since I KNEW they would be on sale if I just waited a couple months). In general I don't see much being released that I care about. The 4-5 games I've bought are about all I really want out of what's being offered by the games industry, I can't blame Steam for not having good games to sell.Â
Â[QUOTE="Overlord93"]Mark of the ninja. Really pretty game. And good fun too.meetroid8
Besides Dishonored, Mark of the Ninja is the best stealth game released this generation. Â
I'm pretty sure that's Metal Gear Solid IVÂ

It's a good game, with stealth. But I wouldn't call it the best stealth game. The boss battles and forced encounters kind of ruin it as a pure stealth game.I'd definitely say mark of the ninja is the best stealth game I've played in a long time. One of the few where both fully lethal and fully pacifist playstyles feel just as fleshed out and rewarding.

I could get technical and say MGS3 because of the MGS HD CollectionÂ

I always thought MGS was a little too linear to be a really great stealth game. At the same time though, I really sucked at those games and was never really able to get into them, so I wouldn't know

I love those games.Â
I may play Legend of Spyro The Eternal Night on PS2, I've had the game for a few days and haven't played it yet, usually play a game within a day or two of getting the game. Then again I also have the game on Nintendo Wii and completed it plenty of times, which maybe why I am not in much of a hurry to start it yet.
As to what I have been playing mostly Animal Crossing New Leaf and Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen(Sort of). Though Ratchet & Clank A Crack in Time was on my PSN name probably earlier I wasn't actually playing that someone else was though I am thinking about playing Ratchet & Clank 3, which is probably my favorite game in the series along with Tools of Destruction. Probably good thing I already earned most of the trophies in that game. and also on PSN made it to level 16, which I have been stuck at level 15 98% probably all year, then again I haven't had any motivation to go after trophies lately anyway.
The only Ratchet and Clank I ever played was A Crack in Time. I enjoyed it, but there wasn't anything about it that really blew me away. meetroid8
A Crack in Time wasn't too bad, but wasn't my favorite in the series think that goes to Tools of Destruction/Up Your Arsenal..
