All Time Favorite Boss Fight

We have all fought many boss fights in our time with gaming. From the appearance of Browser, to Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing glitches. From amazing boss fights like Avion, to annoying boss fights like Mantis. Some of us have even taken the Demon Soul's challenge, others have taken on the whole original Mortal Kombat roaster and won. In the end though, our favorite boss fight will always be remembered for years to come. Some of us can't narrow it down to one boss, and others have already made up their mind.

So, here we go. A topic that I forgot to post on day 1 of this union is now here! If you can't pick one boss, we would still like to hear your favorites.

I'll start things off. I loved the ending boss fight in MGS4 against...

But my favorite at the moment is Avion, the 5th colossus in Shadow of the Colossus.

Liquid Ocelot is easily the most overrated boss fight in the series. I'm surprised people even bring it up when MGS4 has Laughing Octopus and Crying Wolf, which were infinitely better. The End in MGS3 was really cool, even with the horrible controls. And most of Resistance 2's boss battles deserve a mention.brickdoctor

Cronos from God of War III. That was so gory!
The Shagohod also from Metal Gear Solid 3.
Orphan( Final Boss ) from Final Fantasy XIII.

That gets more annoying the more you say it.

I find it funny in a annoying way.

In other words, it's annoying but I don't mind it because it's funny.

I got a laugh out of it.:P

When you come to TGP, you have to expect to laugh now and then!

All time favourite boss fights eh?

Hmmm, I've played some crackers in my time. But I would say the best was Cronos from God of War 3.

One of my favorite boss battles was the fight against Jecht at the end of FFX.

I'm still not so sure of what my absolute favorite boss battle is.

1. Tigrex - First time fighting gives you plenty of trouble. Besides that, he's pretty fun to fight. :P

2. Lunastra - My most favourite Elder Dragon. 

3. Shen Gaoren - Who doesn't want to fight against a giant crab? :P

That was ridiculous. I don't think I have ever laughed that hard from reading a comment on gamespot since I've been here.

Oh you'll be able to beat him pretty soon. Use a long sword with thunder attribute (not something like hammers, I know because I've tried :P ) so Eager Cleaver is a great weapon against the Tigrex. Be sure to try and aim for its head since that's it main weak point. You can also cut its tail as well. When it's in rage mode, you can either put your weapon away and run from its attacks (it becomes a lot faster and deals more damage than usual), throw a flash bomb at it so that it'll be more open to attacks or you can heal yourself or use a Shock trap. Mind you, the Tigrex will be rage mode plenty of times. You'll be able to learn its attacks even if it means you have to lose many times ( :P ). Oh and if it limps head to Area 3 because that's where it'll be sleeping. Mind, it'll be in rage mode once you wake him up. I'll admit, it's been a long time since I fought one though. :P

The Leviathan in Resistance 2 was cool just out of sheer scale. It was way too easy though, especially compared to the rest of the level.

[spoiler] Also, I kind of got angry that Hale managed to survive being thrown halfway across the city by that thing. [/spoiler]
