Same here, mice are awesome. I had two mice living in the same cage. They killed each other, it was pretty brutal. I cried. RI.P Jimmy and Snufflez. Circa 2008.
Trophies aren't worth it. You are putting in effort for no reward. I purposefully have avoided getting the last trophy in some games, so I wouldn't get a platinum.

Unless that little shiny icon gives you purpose in life.Even if it has no serious reward, it adds replay value and gives you a reason to play games you've already finished. It can be fun, it just depends on how much you like the game.

I think hes talking about people who buy games just because they have easy achievements so they can add more to their gamerscore/platinum trophies. I have to agree with SoS that that would be pretty pathetic.
However, getting all achievements because you like a game is a completely different story.
I love trophies and awards, but not addicted to it. It bring us an inspiration to explore through the game. If the levels are interesting, it won't be the trophies that make us jump through the levels. But it is the attractiveness and fun factor of the game.

that is true, some are nearly impossible. Like say a Forza achievment. Where everyone sold a car for 999 999 999 (which was impossible to get) and they have stopped doing that online, so impossible to get 100%

i am looking forward on getting some achievements on Borderlands 1, i am level 20 and still haven't finished the game. I am having a blast, but the story part hasn't been a main part of the game though:?
