I personally am very wary about giving games perfect 10 scores. Although there are some that are just unforgettable and are worthy of such praise. At this moment of time I cannot think of one that I would give the rating to, so I guess I shall come back to this board when I have the answer to the question.
I dislike the old system because it makes it too much to do with the score and therefore too subjective. You also get into the camp of what is 0.1? What makes a 9.6 game better than a 9.5 game and what is enough to consitute a .1 increase. It gives more cause for flame wars and makes it so you are always comparing games against each other rather than taking them on their own merrits.
I want to buy one of those, should I just get the second. out of all the demos (U3 beta included) the second was my favorite for sure. But also U3 was a multiplayer one so I dunno :P
