thats what I thought bug, I was just confused seeing the video having not played it.

Also I think MGS4 is very dramatic and cool. It just has something I havent found in any other game, very cool. :P

Your looking at it from a very two dimensional perspective. You have only found the overt meaning to it, in MGS4 there are many other themes, some more subtle than others. Also calling it like Gears is stupid, it isn't really cover based it's just a third person shooter but it is more like Crysis than Gears due to its sandbox gameplay.
