APB looks amazing. What all does everyone know about it? I posted some information on the updates section of the union, but it wasn't a lot. Any new info?

I'm not sure if it's only gonna be online, but I know it's gonna be amazing online. I mostly buy games if they have a great single player, so hopefully APB has that. It's supposed to come out 2007, or 2008.

Yeah with the 30,000 plus territories. I heard that since it will be an MMO it going to be an online exclusive; yet that could be wrong. I also read somewhere about an option where if you're territories come under attack, you will be alerted on the internet, or you can have an option to have a text message sent to your phone. You can then send a van full of your gang members(AI) to defend your turf. Each territory will have things such as drug labs or a black market on it that earns you money, which is why you want to hold your territories. I'm really looking forward to this game because having a gang will actually serve some what of a purpose. Don't get me wrong, the online play in Saint's Row looks awesome, but it is still sort of just clan matches isn't it? Yeah, I'm hoping Saint's Row atleast has a ranking system. Battle Field 2 had ranks for if you're a newbie or a veteran. I hope you get benefits for being a veteran too. I'd hate it if buffguy8 came on XBL as a newbie and I've been on for a week and he is just as strong as I am. I'm sure Saint's Row will blow us away with the online play. But yeah, APB will likely do this a million times better. Cos in APB, you are actually working toward something.
Yeah, Same here. And it would be cool if getting killed in the game actually ment something. Not like you have to reset your character, but if you die something slightly significant will happen. I think that would be cool because it would add an apect of realism to the game, and would make gangs have to think more about what they wanted to do, instead of just run and gunning into anyones turf.
Yeah, good idea. If they had it where when you die, you lose $200 for your gang or something. That way, people will want to strategize how they attack rival gangs over winging it and falling flat on there faces.

yeah it is, because it's exclusively online; I don't think its too much tho. That really would suck if it was pay 2 play, but its looking like such a kick ass game that it could be worth it.

My guess is that it'll probably be around $10-$15 a month which is out of the question. I'm not making a monthly payment like that when I could buy a Bowflex for that much a month, it's just not happening.

A Bowflex is a whole home gym all in one machine. You can pay monthly for it or just pay it all off. It's really expensive. So my point was that I could have a whole home gym for the price that I would pay monthly for APB.
