I think it should stay on one disc. I believe the entire adventure could fit into it. I could be wrong though...

Ive been thinking it will be on 2 discs since it was first shown to us. I got the feeling from the first trailer that this game is going to be big and just immerse you in.

If it has a 100 hours of playing just to complete the main quest as it is rumored, then it will probably be on two disks.

The REmake was on two discs, RE4 was on 2 discs, and Code Veronica was on 2 discs.

Anyways, it should be on 2 discs after all its supposed to be 100 hrs long.

I think I brought this up a while ago and someone said that it would be hard to have it on two disks since Zelda is quite open ended. For a linear game such as the RE games, you can afford to have parts on different discs. I think they could do 2 discs and have a lot of overlapping content. That way, some elements would overlap on both discs while, some story elements will be able to be spread over multitple discs.

That's true.  It would be a pain if you had to load the other disc in order to explore an earlier dungeon with your new items.  But, then again, there is no spoon.

I wouldn't mind if it was two disks, as long as I didn't have to switch disks every ten seconds. I hate games that do that.

RE4 had a huge attention to detail. It probably has the best graphics on the Game Cube.

Sailing wasn't boring.  It may have been pointless, but not mind-numbingly boring.  I will say that the cyclone teleporting song really helped the game!

Unless the game uses some sort of technology that overlaps the information found on both disks so, after the first loading of the game, you never have to switch the disk again!

Space age!  The map would have to be loaded on both discs, realistically.  The side quests would have to be overlapping.  The characters would have to be overlapping, except for those only in cutscenes.  Too much would have to overlap.

That would be overkill.  Like, using a light arrow to kill a keese.  Sure, you get 50 rupees, but the energy required just doesn't make it worth it.  A regular ol' arrow should be the most you need.

No, ice arrows are cooler than light arrows.  I don't know what you were attepting to say with that last statement, but, if you use light/ice/fire arrows to kill keese, you won't have enough magic to take on the REAL enemies.

Look, that's not the point.  The point is I hate saurkraut!  That's all I'm really trying to say.

Actually, I'm sure you already get my point, being that my point has already been made:  Using the 2nd disc to TP as a LOZ collectors edition is a bit of overkill.

unless they put bonus content on the second disc, (like retro zelda games, or stuff like that) i don't even think they'd need it, because the only GCN games i've ever played with 2 discs is Medal of Honor rising sun, and LOTR the third age. TP doesnt have voice overs (that we know of) or 20 minute long MGS or FF cutscenes, so it will prolly only be 1 disc. I could be wrong though.
