In Wind Waker he used to say 'Come On!' when talking to allies following him.

I'm not sure that this is Link talking, but I'm sure that in Majora's Mask, after Link summons the Four Giants and stops the moon, Tatl and Tael are arguing about who gets to go with Link. I'm sure that, when Link decides to go alone, he says something like 'You guys are so stupid!', referring to Tatl and Taels' foolish arguments. It might not be Link, but someone definately says it.
Link has not spoken in the games. In the old T.V show he talks. I like it better when he does not talk.judog1
I can't picture Link saying "Well, excuuuuuuse me!"; I just can't believe that they had him say that!
As said before, Link has spoken in the Wind Waker, and possibly in Majora's Mask as well.Barmy_Brat
When did Link speak in WW?? He never spoke in MM either, the person who posted that before wasn't sure, but I can say that unless the American version (or wherever that person lived) was changed from the normal version, Link never spoke in it.
In WW, when you went to the Tower of the Gods, Link would have to get these statues to follow him. When you went up to them and pushed the button, Link would say "come on". I'm not sure about MM, though.morbious17
Oh true true, yeah that annoyed me when he called to them, but at least it was only two words! And no he didn't say anything in MM, I'll stick to that!
Really? I'm sure Link says something. Maybe the PAL version is different? Tael might have called Tatl a piece of crap or something, and they changed it because it was too rude for our British eyes.
The only characters present are Tael, Tatl, Link and the Four Giants (and an unconcience Skull Kid). When Tatl and Tael are arguing, I'm sure that Link says "You guys are so stupid!" before going up by himself. It's definately said by someone, and are the last words spoken in that scene.
Maybe Tael is referring to Tatl as stupid, for wanting to go after Majora's Mask.
As for the cartoons... I like to think of them as having no connection to the game whatsoever. Link is right-handed, and acts queer.
if Link were ever to speak more than a phrase or two at one time, i would probably be totally blown away

I live in America and I love Majora's Mask over all the other Zelda's, and the line you're referring to is spoken by Tatl because she doesn't see why they would want to go into the moon like that. By the way, in the American version, nobody calls anyone a "piece of crap!" I'm sure the dialogue is the same in both the American and British versions. Although that would be funny!
Link should never say more than a few words a game along with his traditional screams and cries. Id be shocked if Nintendo decided to have Link star actually speaking the words that appear on the screen.
Dinl
Yeah, I think the screams and cries are quite enough.
iI think the reason that Link is silent is so that the player can feel like they are playing as Link. Basically, the player is Link, so the player makes his choices.ArranTehN00bNicely put.
I've never seen the cartoons, but I heard they were bad.
I think this topic is about video game Link.
