Ok. If you want to bring up the fierce Diety Mask (spelling?) Then Dante Gets to use Demon Trigger, Where he becomes the devil himself(Sparda) In witch He can fly, Has a sword/Sythce Healing/importality. He can also demon trigger into Alastars version of the devil, With lighting/speed Or Ifrits version. With Fire/Strength That can crush mountins. SO Unless your trying to say That Link can beat the devil, Then Your wrong. And no link cannot beat the devil. For the devil is only outmatched by God/Jesus themself. Nayrus love? Wowy Dante waits for it to end. He can stand there and takes the hits doesnt even need to doge. Din's fire? Again Take the hits. In the manga/Game cutscenes he is importal. He cannot die. The only reason he can die in the game Is to give It a challange. He could Hack and slash At Dante Till the end of time, Wont help. The master sword Repells evil (Dante is not evil) The Light arrows Repell evil (dante is not evil) Mirror shield? He cant refflect everything. And Even if he does. Dante is importal! Do i not stress this enough, DANTE IS IMORTAL!!! He was Shot Twice In the head with A gun. Slashed through the chest with a yamato (swoord comeing through the other side) He Got shoved into the floor by a sword, And with his own power " Lifted" Him self through it. IF this is going to be a voting contest then Yes link will win. But If facts of the chararters count. Then Dante PWNS link. Dante Couldnt lose to anyone. We'll if you say Nayrus love, would run out, then you'd be right, but if memory serves me correctly, devil trigger runs out as well, right so it would be a stalemate because they would just would fight without getting anywhere. Then you say Dante is immortal and the only reason he dies in the games, is to give the game a challege, well the Fierce Deity's Mask, can be worn forever aswell, it's just that in the game you can't wear it everywhere because it's too powerful!

True enough... Demon trigger does Run out. But honestly, How long would it take the devil to crush anyone? Also Even iff It did "run" Out. He could simply Let Fiery diety link Slash and hack at him. Then When His demon trigger is full. Link is dead. Dante Could Just mock Link. Not even fight back. Just stand there and take it. I do not stress this enough.... HE IS IMORTAL. CAN NOT DIE. I saw Dante Drop a 1000 stories Tower And land it without dieing. When Link falls a short distance, he dies on contact. Like seriously. IF link gets Stabed Twice by anyone he dies. Dante though, 7 blades( I counted) in the beging. A sword through his stomic and nothing. He shoved his fist through a sword Like it was nothing. So dont saw things like, Close range Link Far range Dante. No its alway Dante. Dante cannot lose. He Is (dare I say it agan) IMORTAL!!!!! Wowy.... Seriosly. The only way link could win. Would be to use the triforce to wish for Imortality/ For dante to lose. Thats it. Every other way Dante Wins. And who says dante wouldnt get to the triforce first.Cry__havoc

Well seeing as Link has the Triforce of Courage already, I don't think so. The only way Dante could get the Triforce is if he beats Link and we all know that can't happen:P and anyway with the fact that Link will be able to transform into a Wolf in TP, whose know what other powers he will get!

I like Dante as well I think he's kick ass, but I also like Link. But when Dante takes bullets to the head and so forth(very impressive, lol) they are ordinary weapons, not with any sort on magical powers, if he was stabbed by Sparda, I'm sure he'd get hurt alot, just in the same way if he'd get hit by the master sword.

NEVER! lol, The Master Sword isn't the only sword  Link has, He'll just use Biggoron's sword (too name one), he can also use the hookshot too pull Dante towards him and stab him in the face, now I now what you are going to say "he's been stabbed in the face before and survived, yes yes very impressive. Anyway the fact that he'd be stabbed in the face with biggoron's sword, just leaves the question, how badly would Dante's face get destoryed, lol.

I.,e Link has many weapons from all over the series, such as the Cane of Byrna, the Gale Boomerang, fire arrows, ice arrows, bow, bombs, hookshot, biggoron's sword, fairy sword, and so on and so on. And let's go with the masks, they turn him into different types of things and gives him certain abilities, he could definetly use those against Dante. And the most glaring example, the Fierce Diety mask, this mask has undoubtedly turned Link into arguably the most powerful version of Link to date, ever, it is pretty safe to say that Oni Link has comparable strength to Dante even in any of his forms, for goodness sakes, Oni Link could probably stop a falling moon with his bare hands. Let's stop choosing who can win simply of how they play in a game, i.e, Dante seems more furious and powerful due to him being in a later game than Ocarina Of Time and so forth, but let's compare them by what they have and whatnot. Regardless, I choose Link. Can anyone say Triforce of Courage, anyone, this is the power of the Goddess Farore of Hyrule we're talking about, who knows what it can do, I don't see Dante being backed by any god, do you?Seihadaka

True, but Link has the Golden Gauntlets, which make him uber strong and he could use his mirror shield to deflect those bullets, or use Nayrus Love to stay invincible. And he can't avoid Link's light arrows because once fired, they go at the speed of light, now I know Dante is fast, no doupt, but he can't go as fast as light.

No, He doesnt heal fast, He is imortal. He fights with vergil all the time in the manga and they never die. Thats the hole Base of the story is two brothers who cannot die Fighting eachother. And his father Sparta Was good. He faught against The demon Race to defend humanity. MAKING HIME GOOD. so mastersword/light arrows got nothing. And im sorry Even If It DID hurt him ( WITCH IT DOESNT) Dante would shoot him with Ebony/ivory or the kata ann. Mirror shield my ### he cant block everything. And even if he does Then Dante Would use Sparta (sword) Or rebelation , Cerbirus, Agni&Rudra, and Beowulf. But thats not even the point. Links Mastersword Is the Bane of EVIL. Dante and his BLOOD isnt evil. Same with light arrows. Its not a match. Remember the first battle (the intro) (go to gamespot.com and you can see it) How fast they where attacking? Thats like Dbz Speed. Link cannot move that fast. He cannot attack defend that fast. He would get crushed. If he was about to pull back the Light arrow to shoot it (Although it doesnt matter because Dante isnt evil) Dante would blow him away with Eboni/ivory. But may I add Imortality. For gods sake ,IMORTALITY. He levitated him self through a bloody sword. Link Takes 2slases and hes out. And dont say that Link wouldnt get hit. See Dantes Un human speed. He slashes Much much faster then Link ever could. I am begging you guys Watch the trailers and videos at Ign or gamespot. Then you will change your mind. I know Dante isn't evil (and btw I haved played Dante's Awakening, good game, anyway) but that doesn't mean that light arrows, the master sword still wouldn't hurt him, it's just more effective against evil. Anyway that's not the only sword he has he could just use the fairy sword to heal himself, and your right Link is not superfast because he's just a hylian (not a human), but with the fact that he receives little damge when hit if you conbine all of the spells and items that reduce his damage by half, so even dante's superfast speed wouldn't do very much. Link is the better swordsman aswell.
