Each Zelda title features a unique and thrilling adventure on its own and each would provide quite the enjoyable experience even for seasoned Zelda fans.
If you can find them, then my advise would be purchase them. They should be available for a small amount of money anyway, so the value in terms of money is definately there.
The oracle games also feature various connections that when played together unlock several differences and bonuses, depending on which game was played first.
Dude, get them! They areincredible games!
Link's Awakening is a classic game that's always fun to play, and also the oracle games. The oracle games are terrific games on their own, and when they are linked together, you're only getting a more epic adventure with a better ending and final battle, plus other neat stuff. I don't know which ones you should get first,it's really up to you and can't go wrong no matter what, IMO, but if I had to gofrom myfavorite to my least favorite of the 3, I'd go:
1. Oracle of Seasons (favorite)
2.Oracle of Ages (middle)
3.Link's Awakening(least favorite)
if you can buy all 3, then do it. ;)
All great but you might have some confusion with the oracle games at first. Each Oracle game is actually 3 games in one... You link them twice befire getting the "true" adventure. I myself have never gotten to that stage :( but all up i enjoyed Oracle of Ages more, it was a bit more action puzzle based than the other which makes it kinda funner but I really enjoyed Lynna city. I rate them:
1. Oracle of Ages
2. Link's awakening
3. Oracle of Seasons
If I had the choice I would want these games revived for DS. The functionality of the DS between the oracle games could work much better on the DS, also I would just like to see Lynna in a more graphicly pleasing game because it deserves it. Both of them do. Link's Awakening would be kewl on the DS to :)
All three games are definitely worth having if you are a fan of Zelda. They offer hours of fun at a reasonable price and they are all great games.
I would recommend Link's Awakening first. But , I am partial because it is the first Zelda game I ever played.
The Oracles are both good and you should pick them up as a set.
So, in an answer to your question. Yes, you should get all three.
I personally dont like any of them
put if i was forced to choose, I'd take the Oracle games just cuz you'd get more play out of themChaos_Angel_14
Not a fan of the handheld Zelda games then?:P

Those are all awesome games.-MasterSword-
All Zelda games are awesome, well at least all Zelda games with Nintendo involvement.

Ahh but they do exist, the pain I felt playing it for the first time.

Actually, I've never even touched the game, or a CDi, I was just joking around. And I always wished Link could talk, but after seeing videos of the CDi games, I kinda didn't care anymore. :P
The cartoons were even worse...:(NWA_31
worse than the CDi games?! Wow, I didn't even think that was possible! Though the art of the cartoon looks nothing like any Zelda game I've played, so I'm not that surprised.

I would say they are about even, with a slight edge given to the CD-I games. Ether should be avoided at all cost at any rate.:P
The opposite should be said about Link's Awakening and Oracle of Ages/Seasons obviously. Quite the great games if one can get one's hands on them.

Well, yeah! comparing Link's Awakening and the oracle games to the CDi games and cartoon is like comparing the taste of pizza to the taste of toe fungus. :|
i had ages when i younger.. but i lost it...i still miss it..glennwinton
Well, its never too late to reconnect with one's lost games by attaining another copy.:P
did you just say it was more memorable than lttp!?
lttp was the best 2d zelda game ever....i'm not saying that ages and seasons werent memorable, but they arent better than lttp...in my opinion lol

I respect your opinion. You're not the only one that thinks that way, and that's for sure. People call ALTTP the best Zelda game ever. I never played it on the SNES. I played it when it came out onto the GBA, and that was after I finished OOS and OOA. That might be why though, because I played it after.
