Hey guys i want to ask something!! Will the Revolution have blue-ray DVD compatibility!!????Link_Soul

No it'll use standard DVD-9 discs. That should be more than enough space for Revolution games. Blu-ray discs would be more expensive to manufacture and usually Nintendo 1st party games don't take up much room.

But i thought that the Revolution will have a external component which will be connected to the Rev and it will be able to take blue-ray  discs!! Its optional though!!

Well how long can Sony keep the blue-ray technology  away from the others!! We are lucky that blue-ray cd's are not yet so much used!  But in 1 or 2 years Nintendo will have to catch up with that technology or find one of its own!! I just hate it!!

Nintendo has the game ideas and truly understands the gamers but Sony has the money resourses and the technology!!! Someday we will be on top again!!

That's not my idea, but it is a good one nonetheless.  My idea is still in the developmental stage.  It's been done in here before, but it wasn't done very well IMO.  I'll post is as soon as Link2025 and I have finished discussing it.morbious17
