I completed Dodongo's Cavern on Master Quest today! It was completely turned around! I liked it a lot!metalsamurai

So it will get better! Good! I'm going to have to get back to it today and go through Jabu Jabu's Belly! I didn't play it yesterday because I had company.

I think it was $31.50 plus $2.00 shipping. I can't remember for sure. It's coming by media mail so I guess it'll take awhile even if the seller is in Kent, Ohio and I'm in Lynn, Indiana. For those of you who aren't familiar with U.S. geography, Indiana is right next to Ohio. Lynn is not too far from the Ohio border.

Let's just say, I thought the cows were...a unique idea. The first time I saw a cow in there, I wasn't sure if I was seeing what I was seeing!

Well...yes, but the thing is...I had a Player's Guide for it before I even had the game, so I kind of look at Master's Quest as a way to make up for that! I beat the others without a guide. There may have been times where I gave up and finally decided to look at a guide or walkthrough, but I decided a few years ago that Player's Guides defeat the purpose of beating the game for yourself, so I only use one if I am absolutely stumped! The Water Temple was still hard though! In a way, I thought Great Bay Temple in Majora's Mask was harder though! Even though I've played through Ocarina of Time more times than I can count, I always forget the key in the Water Temple where you go back to the room where you meet Ruto when the Temple is half full! I only use guides now if I've already beaten the game. I used a FAQ to get all of the items in Metroid Prime and I used a guide to find all of the Gold Skulltulas in Ocarina of Time, but I don't like to use them!

Well, today I played through the Fire Temple and I saved and quit and I'm ready to fight Volvagia! The Master Quest Fire Temple has a weird layout!:? Also, I like the older music for the Fire Temple better!

i think it was a waste of time to make that game if u ahd to choose which 1 to play again who would pick master quest?Skull_Kid_Rox

If I had to choose once I beat Master Quest I think I would choose the original version just because it seems like the dungeons are a lot more classic!

I played OoT at least 6 times through. Then I played MQ and unfortunately found a rare bug when i was about 85% done with the game.

While getting ice arrows (in MQ), I died, killed the last knight in the room, and time ran out all at the EXACT same time! I went into the room again, the time limit was there but nothing to kill. The door was still locked. Luckily I made a copy of the game when I was at the Fire Temple, but it still sucked. I did beat MQ, and only a few spots were really difficult. Am I the only one who loves to fight iron knuckles and screw around with them?

Ive played it but i got bored since i beat reg OOT twice.Legend_O_Dragon

Yeah I have the master quest but i played and beat the Original OoT and started to play the master quest but just couldn't stand to play through it again. I think I got burnt out on zelda for while, but now I'm playing through Wind waker again And am trying to collect everything I know of, i.e. Tingle statues, Nintendo gallery sculptures, etc.)
