Hey guys, I'm new to this union. I can't wait to post more work in the future. This is one of my most recent 3D Scenes. I know that this union isn't really about animation but it'd be nice to hear some criticism. Thanks:)Shelf of Ornaments

So here is the edit. Thank you everyone for your suggestions. What do you think of it? anything else i can fix on it?

Thats awesome :o I don't know how to critique on this but I'll give it a shot. The lighting seems weird, like where is it coming from? and how bout adding some color to the box in the bottom shelf? and what is on the bottom right side of the box? tape? Also I would suggest changing the pattern on the floor idk make it simpler. Like I said I don't know how to really help but I'm sorry if I'm too harsh or whatever lol

Jeez! I have never found out how you guys make those things...

Well, CoolSkaGuy is right: there is no lighting source and the whole image it's kinda dark. If I were you I would add some color on the walls :)

I dunno if it's easy to fix these problems but anyway it's great ;)

BTW... forgot to critique it :P

like you said, it lacks textures and a better light source (and lighting in general).

Second one does look better then the first one, maybe you should try and make the color outside the window brighter. That way it might can help you brighten up the inside as well. :) But really nice work though anyone that can do this kind of stuff is amazing. :D

it's better, but i still think the table and the shelf look like plastic... can't you add a texture to them (and the wooden part of the window, since you're already texturing everything) too?

also, some basic image editing to put a picture of a garden or something like it outside the window... and i still think it could be brighter. try a different color for the wall.

and just curious... but what's that black thing on the table?

make it more like these ones and it'll be more obvious that it's a lamp (it was my guess :P)

 http://www.lighting-bible.com/images/wind-up-lamp-concept-taguchi.jpg

just ignore the wind-up thing and use those colors, instead of making the lamp from a single model :P
