i don't really have any links, but what terms don't you get? usually tutorials just name the tools they're using.

I am thinking of making a tutorial explaining all the terms of designing... I think I have seen a similar before but I can't remember where...

I'll try to find it.

Yay! I found it! After searching 58 pages on GFXplosion, I managed to find what I was looking for. Well, it's not much, and most of them you know it but here it is, in any case you need it. :)

Do the gradient map, and on the layers tab, select the layer and decrese the opacity do whatever pecent you want. nothing to it.

I don't feel like explaining the masks xD

Okay, I'll explain the clipping masks. When you want to do a splatter clipping mask, first make a new layer. Then brush with your splatter brushes where you want the mask to be. Then you can do one of two things. 1 - If you're going to use your tag as the medium for the mask, hide the splatter layer, Copy Visible, re-show the splatter layer, Alpha to Selection and then "Paste Into". Then just move it around until you think it looks good. 2 - If you're going to use a stock as the medium for the mask, just copy the stock, Alpha to Selection the splatter layer, and the "Paste Into". Move it around. If you need more help I can find you a tutorial.

just don't forget to copy the layer before applying the gradient map.
