Anyways, I wanted here making a request, well, more like a question itself. 

Would the MDL be interested in making the cards for the potential Dimension War VI for the Toonami Union? 

I have no idea what to give back in return except of basically telegramming and labeling in some corner of the cards "MDL" as some sort of advertisement pay-off.

So, interested?

The fact is a lot of people participate. It's basically 3 cards per person. It's the same format itself, it's just a lot of work, that's why I asked if you'd like to take the work in a team, because it's usually around 6 teams or so. So a total of 24 people, 72 cards.

Those were last year's cards. As you can see, it's the same format, it just changed colors per character. Hence, what gave the most work.

changing colors is a matter of adding one adjustment layer :P

but what do you want? a new design for the cards, or just make us the official card supplier? 'cause if so, just leaving the template would suffice, i think.

It would have to be a new design, because we don't have the template, and each D-War has had a different design, just to show you:

The Sakura and Soujiro pics above are the best, graphically appealing. So you get the point.

so the biggest problem would be coming up with a new design. once you get a template, it should be pretty easy to change the colors with a solid color adjustment layer on hue or color, place the render and voila, new card in 10 seconds.

i suck at designing from scratch though, so i'll pass :P

But if someone can do the template from scratch, you can help in the card making itself? Since D-Wars go like this:

1. Start a thread and telegram it. Pick your characters.

2. Once the limit of people has been met, close the registration, start the making of cards.

So basically, someone could do the template, and then just add the render, movelist(text) and the such in group to move up quickly, right?

And BTW, everyone here is invited to join, as long as you assure us you'll be active through the D-War itself, since having a game that must be active,without active contestants would suck. Plus, we have the freebie rule. If a move has not been made in 24 hrs by the team in possession of the movement, the opposing team may do 4 moves free of penalty.

So, anyone who'd like to do the templates and then the group itself that would like to help in the card making?

Hi everyone, I've got a request for you.

I want a Max Payne 3 theme. I want the sig and theme to have a darker, grittier look, you could even make it look noir. I don't have any specific request about the pics, so use whatever you think would look best.

Cool, well, if you could make the template, main card, D-Factor card, and back of main card, that'd be awesome. Then it'd be open-source so the approximate 24 player cards be made.

so i was thinking you should tell the toonami union to send me the rules written down and the aspects of the game since i have not played since the third war i think

it would help me understand how the game is gana play out so i can make the cards fit in better 

so far this is what i got

And, a possibility:

2 things off the top of my head that I've beeen thinking...

1- A formation system. When similar cards are recruited to the same team, or characters that actually know eachother, the team gets some sort of special bonus or ability. But maybe only if their combined numeric rating is lower than a certain number. This could make weaker cards with stronger teams and give more variety to the draft.

2- Special ability for each character. Something that goes on at all times or has a condition where it happens. A few characters have had things like this already, like insta transformations.

here is an update and i will upload the psd in a bit

edit : PSD i tried to keep it as organized as possible

suppose you are right i been looking over the past cards and the colors reflect each different character to some extent

so the BG and yellowish text are to change for each 

oh right gata make the d factor card as well

yea i threw the psd up so he or anyone else can help

and what can i say i got a soft spot for card games

i was thinking im probably going to need someone else to make the effects and dmg and all that other stuff i mean it be faster if someone who knows the game does that stuff
