No, I'm not going to the game. The tickets for the whole season were sold out before the first game. Never been to the Kohl Center. I go to more Marquette games because it's only a 10 minute drive to downtown Milwaukee, whereas driving to Madison would be over an hour.
Wisconsin is very lucky Ohio State is playing so poorly.

im probly wrong, but i thought marquette was in michigan (on that tip thats connected to wiconsin)

Nope, Marquette is a college in downtown Milwaukee.[QUOTE="bgres077"]No, I'm not going to the game. The tickets for the whole season were sold out before the first game. Never been to the Kohl Center. I go to more Marquette games because it's only a 10 minute drive to downtown Milwaukee, whereas driving to Madison would be over an hour.

There's 2 Marquettes, I never did understand why Wisconsin can't get that land and yet Michigan can, THEY'RE NOT EVEN TOUCHING IT!

i didn't know that there werer 2 marquettes#6 Kansas destroyed #10 Oklahoma State by 30. That's a very lopsided victory for two teams with rankings that high.bgres077ya you would figure that it would be close

I don't know who's more overrated, Kansas for losing to sch pathetic teams like Old Domnion, or Oklahoma State for getting smashed by them.
Did you guys see David Beckham get paid 250 million to play with the Galaxy?Espurs117Yeah I don't follow soccer much but I'd take that deal.
[QUOTE="Espurs117"]Did you guys see David Beckham get paid 250 million to play with the Galaxy?bgres077Is that an MLS team? Yeah from LA.

I guess $250 million was too much to pass up. Hopefully this doesn't turn out like Pele did all those years ago.

About David Beckham and the L.A Galaxy. I'm sure I follow soccer more than the majority of you guys, lol but yeah he took it for the money. His career in Europe is pretty much washed up. Once you decide to switch to MLS your career is pretty much near it's end. Many fans in his former club are grateful for him to leave. Hes quite hated. CommanderShiroNo he didn't do it for money, the Beckhams have been trying to make it big in America forever. He could of gotten the same kind of endorsements and maybe a bit less salary in Europe. I think he actually wants to make soccer in the NA big.

Real Madrid benched him, bad blood eh?

He has bad blood with Manchester United too. Doesn't sound like the managers best friend. The problem with bringing Beckham in to elevate the sport in America is that he is more popular as the Red Carpet Bechkam than the soccer player David Beckham.bgres077Yeah but this will also create a lot more casual fans, which brings in the $$$. I think this will be like Pele coming to NY, at first it is great but then it will wear off with time.
And the AFC and NFC Championships are decided.....
New Orleans @ Chicago  and  New England @ Indianapolis
Super Bowl 2 weeks away

The dam Pats and Colts in it again....how surprising. I really think that the NFC has a chance now, cuz you know how everyone was writing them off all year long. I am a bit glad that SD lost, well not really but I was getting tired of everyong giving them the Superbowl.
[QUOTE="bgres077"]I went to the Toronto Marlies vs Milwaukee Admirals game today, the Ads won 1-0. I wrote a basic summary of the game in my blog if anyone cares to look.Espurs117
You have been going to alot of games lately, lucky you.
For sure, I got Bucks and Admirals tickets from my parents, and then I got Marquette tickets from my girlfriend. I'm planning on going to another Admirals game sometime in February, then in summer it's Brewers season. I love going to sporting events, it's so much better than watching them on television.[QUOTE="Espurs117"][QUOTE="bgres077"]I went to the Toronto Marlies vs Milwaukee Admirals game today, the Ads won 1-0.
