From my experiences FSU is the most hated rival. Georgia is an extremely close 2nd. Hell I hate both of them. Kinda like me and A&M it's a big rivalry but you can't hate a team you own recently..and it's the same with Florida and Georgia, gators have had that rivarly in the bag for a while.
This doesn't mean that I hate Minnesota and Michigan State any less. Well, it's not so much a hate for the Gophers really, but those damn Spartans are a cocky group for no reason.
I know but its bigger with OSU like Texas and OU.
Yeah, but that's because that is a relevant rival. It's not nearly as lopsided as the other two. Especially over the last 20 years. When was the last time Michigan versus either Michigan State or Minnesota decided the Big Ten or even possible NC considerations? Very rarely. How often has UM/OSU determined the Big Ten and NC possibilities? More often than not, especially with the Big Ten title.
The thing with MSU is their fans are the worst to deal with. At least OSU has won a NC in the last 50 years. MSU can't say that. At least OSU has won a Big Ten title in the last 20 years, I think MSU might have one. Since 1991 I think MSU has beaten Michigan only twice, and both were surrounded with controversy, one (I'm pretty sure) was an obvious pass interference that wasn't called, the other was a clock running sanfu that lead to the longest second I've ever seen, which lead to no in-house personnel running the game clock in the Big Ten anymore. Coincidentally both those games were in East Lansing. Now with all that said, you'd think with the way MSU fans act leading up to the UM/MSU game every year that their team was consistently competing for the conference title at years end. Especially the last couple years prior to this past. Each of those seasons saw Michigan tank against Notre Dame, then MSU beat the Irish. The following week leading up to the game was nothing but a constant barrage of Sparty fans saying things like "this is our year", or "this year is gonna be different". Then following the game, you couldn't find a single one. This past season was different in that Michigan actually beat Notre Dame, and MSU started their season collapse a week before they played Michigan when they blew their huge 4th quarter lead against Notre Dame.
Man, I really got on a little rant there, sorry for the length, but you know how things like college football rivalries can really get you going.
You know what really grinds my gears? lol jk. But yeah thanks for that. Â
Lol, no problem, it's why I'm here.
