Playstation has lots of great single games (and series too) imo, but Nintendo in terms of whole series seems to have more better ones.Even Elder Scrolls is losing horribly? This is turning into an all nintendo tournament.

Voted Castlevania, I loved most of the ones I played, either on the Genesis, Gameboy, N64 or Playstation.
And yes, I liked Simons Quest, alot.
Pokemon'll likely win, but I vote Castlevania. Never played either though.mariostar0001What? I thought you liked Pokemon :P
Why'd you use Tidus to represent Final Fantasy? Of all the possible characters you pick one of the three worst main protagonists? ktulu007
1) I had searched through pages of images trying to find one that had multiple people in it.
2) I was playing FF10 recently.
3) It's just a random pic to show FF won.
This shouldn't even be in contention. Mario, the kingpin of platformers, easily and thoroughly outclasses his so-called rival.
Even in the hedgehog's heyday, Mario was the star of far superior platformers, such as Super Mario World. Today, Sonic has largely fallen of the track while Mario has managed to stay as strong as ever while still managing and producing a variety of great spinoffs. Furthermore, Mario's impact on the industry is undeniably greater than that of Sonic.
