Man, this outage is a monumental PR disaster for Sony. I can't even imagine how angry the publishers/developers are at this point.
Especially Valve.

I don't have a problem with it either, it's just an inconvenience that's all.macrules_640Although I'll admit, it's really tiresome when you suddenly got the feeling of wanting to play a game online but remembers the PSN is down. *sigh* Happens to me a few times. Really want to play LBP2 online sometimes. :(
It's still good to be able to play with friends offline, but seriously I need to update my trophies!macrules_640i still have Live Gold so i can play Black Ops online.

In short that link states people are trading in their PS3s for cash or 360s.
This is getting more serious, I wish people realize that there are serious online gamers out there, and I know this because I play online too.

Seriously, have they ever heard of singleplayer before? Or local multiplayer? I've a feeling they'll regret selling their PS3s for a 360 sooner or later.

They have not, and it really shows how they have a love affair with online. Seeing how the best selling PS3 games are COD games...yeah. I am hoping this isn't the future.D=I have played lots of single player on my PS3.:D

I also have some singleplayer myself but honestly I prefer local multiplayer myself sometimes. It's a great way to play with my younger brother and sisters. :DÂ

i'm trying to look online for a very cheap Black Ops for X360 (in decent condition)
I'm fine with PSN being down as well since I rely on my PC for more of my online anyway.macrules_640I rely on the PSN to play games online. But since my brother plays CoD:BO almost everyday with it, I don't mind really. :P I only hope he doesn't buy a new CoD game. :|

You should. To me it's a waste of money since it's the same old thing. I hope the new CoD gets cancelled or something but chances of that are really low.... :PÂ
Speaking of CoD...
third one (speaking within the Modern Warfare universe, of course) will depict an invasion of New York. y not boston?
EDIT: Looks like Berlin, London, and Paris will become warzones...unfortunately, my opinion of Activision is too low for me to get excited over this.
Battlefield is better than COD.
It doesn't come out every year, it's harder to play, better graphics, the maps are big, it's well balanced mostly, great vehicles, destruction on buildings and terrain is awesome and with the high player count it feels like real war.
The 3 reasons COD sell is heavy marketing, it's brand name is popular and it's easy to get into compared to other FPSs. As long as people buy it they will never stop making them.Â
It's funny how I see so much hate for COD and it sells millions, I think we are the minority.
i choose 2 games i know i will never play.http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011/05/16/details-for-playstation-network-and-qriocity-customer-appreciation-program-in-north-america/
Choose your games.
