Keep your mages and healers a step behind them. Archers should be used around the sides of your main ships for the infinite pegasus riders. Keep your weaker units nearby the stronger pairs and tanks. If those frontline warriors ever get too weak, have them either pair up or switch around with their partner (basically giving the pair a new health bar). If this doesn't work, dump them off to your weaker units using the "transfer" option.

If you have a thief (probably Anna) then use her when you wipe out a side and keep one of your tanks near her just in case a pegasus rider comes too close, in which case pair up, kill the rider, then split up. Loot all the chests.

For the strong dude, I would recommend (assuming he doesn't have any long-range weapons) moving your mages just outside his range of attack. Keep your stronger attack units or ones with swords that are effective against armor right behind the mages. Then use the mages for an attack from two spaces away, move your other units in, and attack with them.

Bring 3 sturdy units, pair them up and keep them supported by healers. Also, always observe the HP of everyone including the enemies, sometimes I used a weaker weapon to make sure my tanks wouldnt get a kill, thus that tank controlling the ammount of enemies that attack the tank on a single turn.

That definitely helps, but I just realized tha I need to do at least two hours' worth of grinding, if not more. I have a few super strong units, like Frederik and Kellam, but Virion (my archer) and my mages are a little under-levelled. So I'll probably have to grind a hell lot before I even think of tackling this level again. And I need more Pegasus units, I guess? Because the Valmese Pegasus units keep killing Chrom, even though he's a lvl. 20 character, so I think I need to get rid of as many Pegasus units as I can before they get to my stronger units. I'm not complaining, though, grinding is fun, especially in a game like Awakening :P

Pair yourself with Tharja. Alternatively...  

• Stop using Kellam. Everyone ignores him for a reason.
• Use a Master Seal on Chrom. You should be able to buy them in Ch. 12's area.
• Bring Cherche to this fight. She should be more than capable of taking down enemy Pegasus/Falcoknights on her own. Feel free to pair her up with Virion (a.k.a. canon husbando) for extra damage.

Also, seeing as Techno probably owns the game and I don't, you might want to listen to his advice down the road about Kellam. I'd still recommend him now, just dear goodness keep him away from the mages.

Seriously, Master Seal some people ASAP dude, especially Chrom. I think Chrom's already a Lord, so you might want to buy some Second Seals as well. Here's a novel idea that you probably should ignore: How about Second Sealing Chrom into a Master Archer or whatever they're called? You'll probably be able to retain your ability to use your Falchion, get archery as well, and be able to Master Seal him into another class later.

• Kellam's not bad as a unit. He's bad as a character, hence why everyone in the Shepherds ignores him and so should you. >:[
• Chrom's a Lord, yes, but this isn't Path of Radiance; Lord is an unpromoted class. :P
• Chrom can't use Falchion as an Archer or Sniper. Can as a Bow Knight, but that requires him to be a Lv. 10 Archer or Lv. 10 promoted unit before switching.

I've used Master Seals on plenty of people, though not on Chrom yet. I have terrible luck with Chrom, he keeps dying all the time, no matter what I do. Probably gonna have to get him to level up even more.

I use kellam coz the guy's a tank. he doesn't take much damage and deals a lot. I do use Cherche, but I probably need some Pegasus units to back her up because all the Valmese Pegasus units keep surrounding her every time she moves in to kill one of them. And yeah, I'm probably gonna have to get Virion to level up to, he hasn't even hit 20 yet.

Oh, and I need to level up Ricken too, guy's a wuss

Or maybe just start a new game and play properly this time :P

^ try playing defensively. shut down the enemy chokepoints, pick pegasus off with wind and archers, and use small hit squads to "infiltrate" the enemy ships.BrunoBRS

That's basically what I'm gonna do, get a few attack units and play the rest defensively. But first I need to grind. A LOT

only one i played was BiS, and while it was good and fun, i wasn't particularly invested in it.

Mario and Luigi: Dream Team looks awesome. Played all Mario and Luigi games and I love them all to hell. Probably one of my most anticipated 3DS games this year, along with Pokemon and A Link Between Worlds.

Which reminds me- I didn't really like the name "A Link Between Worlds" initially. And while I still don't like it too much, it's starting to grow on me.

I really want this game to come out in this holiday. This is my most wanted wii u game.

This, SSB and (surprisingly) Donkey Kong are the games that make me want to get a Wii U. I definitely will, around May next year.
