Having played a bit of Deadly Premonitions, this is kind of the game Alan Wake should of been (not exactly the same, but still). It would have been nice to actually explore the town and get to know some of the characters.Â

Are you getting the Director's cut on PS3 at the end of April?

I might pick it up at some point if I like the game enough (seems like I will at the moment), but probably not at the end of April. If 80% of BioShock Infinite's fights didn't consist of the game throwing hundreds of enemies at me or if I could've avoided the majority of them, I'd 've loved it a lot more. Booker's hardly a one-man army and should be on the run, especially at the beginning of the game, but stealth's pracitcally non-existant. Instead, you're forced to play one of the more mediocre CoDs with a different coat of paint.
Also, the game mechanics make Elizabeth more of a tool than an actual partner. Doesn't help that, plot events aside, she's not exactly...present in the game. Bit disappointed in that regard considering I thought she was supposed to be a step up from Alyx.
One thing I did like though was the ending.
Also played Wipeout HD Fury. Beat most of HD's campaign on Skilled. Honestly, music aside, I'm liking it more than F-Zero GX and Mario Kart 7, both of which I love. More technical tracks thanks to tighter 'roads' and mini-boost pads, augmented further by speed classes that actually feel different from each other. Combat, while lacking a bit in the feedback department, doesn't comprise of you praying you get homing weapons unlike Mario Kart thanks to the track design. Weapons also deal quite a bit of damage.
Like to say I'm playing more Fire Emblem: Awakening, but I don't have the courage to re-attempt the first of the high-difficulty DLC. Â >.>
Lastly, Shining Force III is an absolute piece of crap based on the 0 seconds I played of it. (Read: Daemon Tools isn't working for me for some reason so I can't play it on my PC. >.> )Â
after disappearing for practically two whole days, i have returned from final fantasy XIV. due to NDA and shit, i can't go into much detail, but i can say that it was quite fun, despite feeling like it shouldn't (much like how i feel about dragon quest lol). the aesthetic reminds me of LotR and crystal chronicles, which is to say, i love it. might be the closest to an MMO in the GC's crystal chronicles' universe that i'll ever get.
too bad SE wants to charge me monthly for it >.>
ÂDead or Alive 5 Plus
There's an 'OMG' setting for breast motion, I've unlocked it, and it is glorious.Â

*Doesn't find any videos of it on YouTube*
It's as if they -want- me to see it for myself (i.e. get a Vita and DoA5+)...

Skilled? Do Elite like me and race while praying the AI chokes on a bag of dicks.
Seriously, screw the AI on Elite

It's the best way to play though~
   Â
Re-did a few of the early races on Elite actually since I originally did them on Normal which doesn't let you appreciate the tracks so much when they hand out gold medals like candy. Praying's pretty much been my strategy so far in Venom, yes, Venom-class races. Victory tastes pretty damn sweet though. :P
I'm progressing in Bioshock on Hard with no vita chamber on.
I forgot how lovely the crossbow was. I'm at Hephaestus point.
Age of Wushu - I think I finally found a new MMO that'll keep me away from WoW. I spent 12 hours doing absolutely nothing to progress the game and had a ton of fun.ChubbyGuy40
Yeah, it is pretty good. I dont know why I quit though, but I did have fun with it. It has arguably one of the better battle systems in the mmo genre (although this isnt saying a lot).

Crossbow was easily my favorite wep aside from my trusty wrench. :)
The wrench can be one of the most powerful weapon of the game with the right tonics, even later.
I started Final Fantasy XIII, just to see what all the fuss is about, and see what I think about the game.

It's actually quite fun. The combat system feels really responsive and active, with almost very little downtime between actions. The paradigm system gives you a decent level of customization too.Â
So far though, It just feels a little constrained in how it presents things: Encounters are all fixed, the Cryst-watchamacallit could have had further branching and locales have a simple point A-to-B means of 'exploration'.
Injustice is pretty fun. Way better than MKvDC and feels like a refined version of MK9.

It's buggy, it's clunky, and the engrish is really broken. I don't understand how I can like it so much.
finally got back to playing games not named GW2 or MH3U.
finished world 4 of paper mario sticker star, it was pretty enjoyable. the ending to that chapter was surprisingly grim, and i don't think nintendo realized it lol.
Â
made some progress in link's awakening too, but now i'm stuck on the second dungeon. i don't know what good lv2 bracers do when none of those elephant statues have anything.

Of course there will be one or two with a door underneath. Thats always how it goes.
Honestly forgot how that dungeon went. There was only one near the end that was awkward to me.

It remains just as constrained almost through to the end. Contrary to the popular belief that things "open up" more when you hit Gran Pulse in Chapter 11, it isn't so.
Chapter 11 is just as straighforward with the option of doing postgame content already if you so desire. You can really break the final two chapters of the game if you know what missions to undertake on Pulse. But because the final two levels of the Crystarium are locked until you beat the game (Level 9 is unlocked at the end of Chapter 11, Level 10 after the credits roll), you'll find a number of the missions to be impossible without further grinding.
Compared to all other Final Fantasy games though, the Paradigm Shift system is a great fit and keeps battles engaging throughout.Â
Finally, there was a bit in the game that didnt involve a hostile zone with enemies! even though it was short lived. I really would have liked it if the game does more of that, just to break things up a little more.
Only just figured out yesterday that you can short queue a single ATB bar to spread spells across different targets efficiently; Instead of using all your ATB points on one target.
Nifty. Makes playing Medics surprisingly fun: as you have to be patient to respond to attacks, manage ATB points and acting really quick when things get rough.
Â
When does the Paradigm customization lock itself? Getting pretty annoyed at having to set them up all the time when the scenario shifts and undoes what I had set up :(.
9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors is my new favorite DS game. I can't think of too many games that have made my pulse quicken and actually made me nervous for the characters in the game. And just when I think I've caught a character or figured out something clever I get mindfvcked.
Have done 4 endings, the axe, the knife, the submarine and the safe. I can't put this down. I already went ahead and bought VLR for Vita and have it installed and ready to go.
In the past 28 hours I have spent about 16 of those playing...Â
Time for the true ending runthrough now. Have work in 7 hours, don't give a damn.Â

I really need to finish that game, but at the same time, I find it extremely difficult to even care enough to even pick it up :( Maybe i should just go for the true ending and be done with it, because my interest in that game is extremely low. At least for the second playthrough.
It was fun for the first playthrough though, but my interest in the second is really low. It doesnt help that the only characters I dont dislike are Lotus and Snake.

Also i'm playing Breath of Fire IV lately after finishing Bioshock on Hard, will replay it on Survivor soon enough.

it kind of amused me when i realized that yes, that is one game that i could call one of my all time favorites. it's an odd feeling, finding a new game to put on a list that you always take for a static thing based on long past experiences, but 999 truly deserves a spot to me.Real life called and I had to put down 999 for a bit.
Finished it this evening.Â
If scores actually meant anything I'd give it a 10. I don't know what to say...Â
True ending completely got me. All of it.Â

You'll be suffering that at least until late Chapter 9. That's when you'll be given free reign to set up your own party from the whole cast and keep paradigms set in stone, if you so desire.Â
there's a Q&A on the official website. you might want to give it a read.Real life called and I had to put down 999 for a bit.
