I was at Gamestop earlier this evening, and I saw under thier release charts and found Resident Evil 5, but there's 2 Resident Evil 5s. One version will be going for $59.99, and the second one will be going for $89.99. Besides $30 + tax, what's the difference between these two versions that it needs to cost $30 more? Man, just for me to continue my thing with Resident Evil, it's going to cost me $500+ (PlayStation 3 20/60GB + Resident Evil 5 the better version), it's just never ends with these debts. So does anyone know what's the difference between these two different editions?

I'm guessing the one that is $30 more is the collector's edition, but I'm not sure what it comes with.

What ever it comes with or what ever the differences are, just to continue my deal with Resident Evil (so I know the next chapter), it's going to cost me $500, because I still need to get the 20/60 GB PS3 (I need to stick with my PS1/2 games rather than having 2 PS systems). This Resident Evil hobby is getting to be too much money, and I'm still out of work, and in real deep debt because I had to buy a 42" Plasma Samsung TV, which I won't complain about because I love it except the fact my room gets HOT like July.

That's good. However I can't get the 40, 80, 160 GB (not out yet), because with all my PS1 and PS2 games still in my interest, I need to get either the 20 or 60 GB model. I mean why have 2 consoles when you can have: PS1, PS2, PS3, DVD upconverter, Blu-Ray, phone chat (something like that) all in one? Why still have a PS2 and a PS3, and a DVD upconverter when you save room and get it all in one? But I understand if you get the 80 GB, because it's easiest to get right now, being in the stores in all. I tried eBay, and perhaps I'm just too cheap, because I pray that I can get a PS3 at or close to the starting price, meaning the other surfers didn't notice the auction, but that's impossible. Well that's that for now.

PS: Didn't you notice when you replied that this is a Resident Evil 5 differences dissgussion?

I haven't gotten mine yet, and I probally won't because I over spent (charged) on just getting my 42" Plasma TV. And like I said, I need back compatibility for the explained reasons. I mean why have two PS consoles when you can have it all in one regardless of the condition of your old systems? I mean selling the old system can help pay for the next one, and you'll still technically have it with the 60 or 20 GB. So what's the point in having the old systems when it could still go towards the next system which certain models could have the model which the money went towards. See? But that's just me. But I don't know when I'm getting my PS3 yet, but it's going to have to be by March 13 so I can be ready for Resident Evil 5. I have my concerns with my stomach and Resident Evils 4, 5 now that I have a larger TV screen. I played Resident Evil 4 eariler, and the intense movement and spinning around made my stomach feel sick after 15 minutes of gameplay. I hope getting a 42" Plasma TV wasn't a mistake for my future with Resident Evil, but from what I've experienced with my new Samsung, I love this HD stuff, and I can't wait to get my PS3 (20/60 GB soon), I want to go Blu-Ray too.

Speaking of Resident Evil, I'm currently as I type this watching the third movie "Extinction." I also had a neat dream about it which I didn't want to wake up from. The convoy (with me) made it to a rural forest location with very few snow, a subdivision with the name Alasksa in the title, the few people there and they weren't responsive, but one person said to me and Claire Redfield that this isn't Alaska, that's more north, and that he would like to come along with us on the convoy, and before we with Claire Redfield started up again, I woke up and it was all over....DAMN! It was one of those kind of dreams were it feels so real, and the kind you just don't want to wake up from.

Well the 80gb from Singapore was a hell of a lot more expensive, and there was no gurantee it would work (especially without Sony's warannty being valid internationally) so the less spent the better.

You know if you search eBay for a PS3, you'll see that no system is guarenteed to work, because every week, someone lists like 500 broken PS3s. I think buying these systems is kind of risky, when you figure how many broken models make it to eBay each week, plus there's always more than that aren't on eBay.

Definitely, which is why I imported it directly from a shop in Singapore. :P

(My father was coming back from an overseas trip through there).

How can you buy a video console like a PS3 from another country? I mean don't they use PAL format? Even if both countries used either PAL or NTSC, doesn't the format signal need to still come from the same country? What I mean is, here in America we use NTSC formats and so does Japan, but you can't get a Japanese model and expect it to work in America even though they're both NTSC. So how can you buy a PS3 from Singapore when they'd probally use two different set ups?

The great thing about the PS3 is it's region free! And the only issue with the TV or signal would be if the TV didn't have enough hz. Also, I believe if you don't have EDTV or HD you can't use some european accesories with it as the TV isn't the right size. That doesn't make sense, though, so it's probably wrong. The final two issues with buying stuff like this internationally is the powercord, and also electronics can use different frequencies of power, so if you're using a dutch appliace in Japan it could blow up due to too much power, or vice versa. However, the PS3 can use any amount of HZ so that's no problem, and as for the lead it works with any PC powercord! :)

Yup, luckily the PS3 works safely anywhere. There were rumours they were goingt o remove the universal power, though. But you'd hope they couldn't be stupid enough. They haven't yet anyway.

Oh just wait. I'm sure you know that big electronic companies DO stupid things for the sake of money. Just like the government, doing stupid things for the sake of money.
