Ada Wong will be in Resident Evil: Damnation

In a brief conversation with the voice actors involved in the localization of Resident Evil: Damnation for the Portuguese, REVIL obtained some exclusive information about the plot.

The initial proposal of the film would be simple and focused on Leon S.Kennedy . Kennedy.The agent is on vacation and ends up being called to intervene in a mission in Europe.Leon shares the story with two characters - according to the actor, two women with strong personalities.One is the spy Ada Wong and the second would be a character in the novel series.

When asked about the presence of characters from Resident Evil: Degeneration in the new film, the actor said he had not seen any of them during their sessions dubbing.

Still, the actor added that in RE: Damnation, the zombies are more gruesome than the first animated feature.

Ok if this movie is also tied in with the main series then why is Leon sent back in Europe when he was there in the events of RE4? Also is it a different part of Europe where the Las plagas was and now with the presence of zombies? maybe I'm looking into this too much but it just makes you wonder

Nah I doubt seeing that Ada already gave the sample to the orginization she works for.Knowing Ada is in the film also could only mean she's there on a special misson while Leon is only there to prevent what's going on

True but seeing that the story in degeneration had a link to the main game such as Tricell,WilPharma as well as Claire/Leon reuniting once again after the events of RE2 (They even had a flashback about it) I just thought this movie could be linked also

You're right it didn't really had that much of an impact to the series,I guess you could say the movie was used in a way to attract newcomers to the series as well as the longtime fans who would not miss out in watching it,idk ....I can say though that Degeneration took place between 4 and 5 since Tricell had a role in the ending of the movie which lead to being the "new umbrella"in RE5 so all in all there were some important connections from the movie to the game
