That what the movie will be about, But you never know SciFi could want it back, because BSG rating are not so good, and the put SG-1 back on friday with it.... Repeats of season 7.
yeah they are going to defeat the ori in the movie so i hope the movie is just going to be one big battle sequence because if sci fi dont renew it by the end of the season they could find they weapon and the movie can be about how they use the weapon and the actual battle. this would probably make sense for stargate fans but since its a movie which anyone would watch they might have to add some back story to let people know what is going on who are not stargate fans. i just hope they dont put too much of that stuff in just to please non stargate fans.

I'm sure we can look forward to some quandry with the weapon, like it will destroy ALL ascended beings or something like that. I don't expect it to be as simple as using the weapon at Dakara was in S8.
I'm not trying to be a jackass to the Ascended beings but I actually hope that the anti-ori weapons DOES destroy all ascended beings. Most of the ancients as jackasses and they never help us just because of their stupid "rule book". When Anubis was trying to destroy the galaxy they didn't do jack ****. When the Replicators threatened the entire galaxy what did they do? NOTHING. When the Goa'uld enslaved the majority of the known universe what did the ancients do? Not a thing. When the Ori decided to send a crusade out to enslave all of the milky way what did the ancients do? NOTHING and the Ori are violating all of the stupid rules anyways. I hope the weapon destroys the Ori and those god damn ancients as well. GOOD RIDDANCE.

Indeed. It's not like the universe is going to be any different without them. And that whole Anubis thing was partially thier fault. They couldn't even correct their own mistakes.
