This is not a WAYLT thread, this is where you post the bands/artists you've been digging lately.
As for me, I've been digging some music from Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.

Melanie Martinez from the Voice. I wish M. Martinez would do a cover of "Into the West" from Annie Lennox, on the Voice, if it winds up working for her.
Unheilig.
Linkin Park
I just bought Evanescense "Fallen" on Itunes, while I like it, I'm not sure if I completely dig them.
I like Tame Impala and The Flaming Lips, haven't heard the others though.

Stardeath and White Dwarfs is a band along similar lines to The Flaming Lips, particularly their more recent work. Though I suppose it shouldn't be a surprise when Stardeath and White Dwarfs' frontman Dennis Coyne is the nephew of The Flaming Lips' frontmant Wayne Coyne. They have an EP called That's Cool out, and an album The Birth. They've also collaborated with The Flaming Lips on several things, namely a cover of Madonna's Borderlin, a cover album of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, and contributed a cover of The Court of the Crimson King to The Lips' project of covering King Crimson's debut.
I've been really getting into and checking out the older soul/R&B music lately.
I'm talking: Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, and Earth, Wind & Fire.
In my opinion they are some of the best singers ever. I love the voices of the old time soul singers.Â
Got back into Dethklok again after rewatching the first two seasons of Metalocalypse.
I also discovered Becoming The Archetype. Great band.Â
