Who is your favorite made-up band (i.e. they don't exist in reality but still have their own music.

Gorillaz, in the sense that the animated band are fictional, whereas the actual music is a project headed by Damon Albarn and visual artist Jamie Hewlett, and not a band.

Probably The Soggy Bottom Boys (bluegrass band from the movie O Brother Where Art Though), though I think they mostly do covers.
