Ive heard the Slaughterhouse CD full of dopeness but I havent heard The Escape Route, Joe Budden kinda bores me I find him the weakest in the group dont get me wrong though he is a good artist and I say his best song this year is pray for meShadowAssassin6
Yeah Padded Room is a little better and Pray for Me is an amazing song. But Escape Route is still great.Â
Jay Electronica- "Google Eyes"
"She said Jay I'm yours,
I've been screaming for the past three days I'm hoarse,
she was spinning like she never seen waves before,
so I gave her a boat, and an oar,
and a star to guide her safely to the shore,
she said she never believed in Moses and Noah,
unless I show her, so I showed her,
gave it right to her like I owed her,
that's when I changed from Shrek to ogre,
into to Master Yoda,
she said oh I, can't believe uh, it's a miracle,
it's a bird it's a plane it's a spherical,
object, hard to detect, right out the projects
he can move mountains without flexing his biceps,
the speakers drain dialect, I start dropping jewelry,
her eyes went googly, she went home and Googled me,
Myspace, friend requested, and Youtubed me,
a hundred thousand views of me,
building me a castle on the backs of wack rappers
out here spitting that foolery,
she logged onto gmail, clicked compose,
and said I don't do this usually,
Nas said hip hop was dead,
and what these other *****s spitting is just eulogy,
you represent the new to me, true, cats is nice,
but I ain't see the god since Hova spit that navy blue to me,
truly yours, don't let me down like linen,
the greatest pay to sacrifice in they early beginnings,
"Ps", "LL" rocked the bells, now it's your time,
your trains running on schedule, "LOL", showtime,
I hear your name ringing, I feel the game changing,
*****s know, every rhyme you spit,
it's like watch him in his flag
spitting flames with his chain dangling,
Barack Obama with his dame way out in Maine wrangling,
the game will swallow you if you ain't strong enough to make it follow you,
I'd pack my bags and head home if I was you,
so salute to the most honorable,
MC bombable Jay Electronica"
don't you just love hip-hop...
I like some alternative rap (Subtle, 13 & God, cLOUDDEAD, etc.) as well as a variety of other hip-hop acts such as Outkast, Wu-Tang Clan, A Tribe Called Quest too name a few.darksword1123good groups there I cant wait till Outkast drops their album
Big day in hip-hop yesterday, had to go out and pick up BP3 and OB4CL2. OB4CL2 is the #1 album on iTunes right now as well.
How is Raekwon's new one? The first one was amazing!

It Was a Good Day is an amazing song. Definitely one Ice Cube's best.Â

It's great, maybe the best rap album released so far this year, but obviously its not gonna be as good as the first one.
Sonny's Missing
Pyrex Vision
Fat Lady Sings
Suprisingly the production is the weakest part, and you wouldn't expect that with production credits that have RZA, Dr. Dre. J Dilla, Pete Rock, Marley Marl, Erick Sermon, and the Alchemist on it...
