Most likely B.o.b,lupe fiasco, eminem, kanye , and jay-z are my favs. Yup i'm mainstream. Also , i suppose i should note that id on't care how much of a douchebag the rapper is....Also , Lil Wayne is rather highly overrated.

For me if you dig mainstream, it's not an issue.   You do like some good ones though.

I find Wayne to be annoying.

More effort, less ghostwriting.
More albums, less mixtapes.
Stop using auto-tune to mask a lack of singing talent.
Stop making contrived girl songs.
Stop wearing obnoxious gold chains.
Stop calling everything a movement. Civil Rights = movement; Bugatti Boys = not a movement.

His style seems similar to MF Doom's (or maybe that should be the other way around) who I also rather like, but will definately have to listen to more of Priest's stuff

Biggie Smalls - Ready To Die

Fieldy's Dreams - Rock n' Roll Gangsta (even though most songs are wack, there are two or three I like listening to)

Anyone ever heard of the Beatnuts? They are my favorite rap group from back in the day. They are pretty underground but they had a little radio and MTV exposure during they're prime. Classic stuff, i still listen to it.

I've been mostly listening to Ghostpoet's debut 'Peanut Butter Blues & Melancholy Jam'. A rapper and producer, he brings a mostly chilled out record of musings on life in modern Britain backed by minimalistic and chilled electronics. The record's really grown on me.

Nice, well if you ever want to check them out I would suggest listening to 'Street Level' or 'Stone Crazy', their two best albums. Every track is good on each

Lately gotten into a lot more rap/hip hop. Specifically Kanye West, The Throne, Lupe. Also a few from OFWGKTA. Always love Tyler, lots of Frank Ocean and some Earl.

Also, fav new rapper would be Childish Gambino. This Donald Glover guy is a rapper, actor, comedian and a writter, and does them all really well. Fav tracks would be Freaks and Geeks and New Prince, but love all of his stuff. New album on the 15 this month. Or something around that time. Gambino is a mastermind! :D
