The Intro-Thread.

Well, might as well properly introduce myself, even though i've been here for a while.

Hello all, my name is Will(Guillermo actually, but Will is an English translation so you can call me that). English roots but born in Spain, i love music. I always have, but it wasn't until recently when i really started to understand it and see the power it has. I am very much into music discussion and wish to know as much about music as i can, and listening to music is my favorite thing to do(that and gaming).

I don't have any preference over any genre since any music can be fantastic in the right hands, and total crap in the wrong ones. To the loudest, most furious and aggressive edges of Hardcore(Examp: Converge), going through the soul touching lyrical masterpieces of folk(Examp: Neutral Milk Hotel), to the soothing, dreamy, landscaping sounds of Jazz(Examp: Miles Davis).

Bands that I really like: Sonic Youth, Deftones, The Raveonettes, The Kills, Nirvana, Radiohead, Muse, & The Duke Spirit. They're not the only bands I like, just the ones I bothered to write down:P

as you can tell my taste in music tends to lean towards rock, but I also like listening to other genres as well.

The Name is Basskill2000, but my DJ name is Drakonis as was my last bands internal nickname. but I play Bass guitar, currently on hiatus from the band scene, but I have with a number of different local bands including... Burn Them All, A Bleeding Dischord (later to be know as After Chidori), Sourground, and Leak... Among other little projects that i goofed off with like a mortal kombat slam core band, forrest gump parody Slam Core band, and a temporary stint in Tenstrong.

Currently I am doing some metal DJin for old promoters in my area, and gaming a lot too.

I listen to a bit of everything, but Metal and Rock are my primary pleasures
