So what do you think? Will it be release this year or the same month as the previous games?

Numbers: Haven't checked their article but it isn't official. The status is TBA right now. E3 is the earliest (June 2nd) we can expect talk of release. I will agree with whoever added it that it will be a 2010 release (March like GoW1, GoWII and CoO*?*)

I trust you've seen the Homepage updates (a telegram was sent about them though it should have linked to each to reach the fullest attentions of our non-regulars/ex-regulars/lurkers..the wayward of TUGOWU.

I'd say finishing both on VERY HARD and the Challenges would be a minimum.

Well done for beating all the GoW challenges, some of them were quite tricky.

We, here, would talk you through anythinf that stumps you. It is what we do.

 We like to get people through a VeryHard run with No Upgrades, if they are up for it.

Numbers: You never specified what nick you wished to go by so I just chose for you. Feel free to answer back properly if you feel strongly about one.

I very much doubt you got the "gameplay concept and mechanics + the game engined used" even to the extent I know them in a given title now...granting the fact I don't know them well enough to say I've truely 'finished' the learning process and thus further work will be done. Especially through just a playthrough or two, 'Hard' and most of the Challenges.

Could we perhaps convince you to begin a 'Very Hard' run in either..walk you through it. See if we can change that opinion of having learned enough to be 'finished'.

NOTE: "Contented" would have been a more acceptable word. One I wouldn't be 'caught' on.

Kuro: We've had recruits who hadn't yet played GoW. Once a Leader who never touched 'Very Hard'. Another who appeared to have forsaken the series. TUGOWU doesn't have a "minimum" per se...rather I do in taking a user especially seriously. Even then, I often require said user being looking to go beyond said MIN. It's highly encouraged.

Gent: Finishing 'Very Hard' and the 'Challenges' for any given title is the least I expect out of a player. If they've not done that yet, I intend to see about getting them to do so...and then bait for a Specialty Run or so beyond it.

~RPGs just don't appeal to myself. The characters of JRPG....HA! WRPG...not even good for a laugh. I'll leave that to those like optiow to enjoy. I'd agree to one saying the have nice, over-the-top (anime) specials, summons, etc.

NOTE: This isn't the proper thread to be discussing such things at length however. I suggest a new thread be created by Numbers with intentions to do a 'Very Hard' run announced or we have our 'back-and-forth' in Off-Topic.

Full HD 1080+ No Loading + Perfect Framerate= God of War III

- No sixaxis use.
- No co-op
- No online
- The magazine mentions real-time wounds on Kratos but it seems more like a guess on their part, not a confirmation.
- Everything is in 3D even landscapes far away (in the trailer you can tell the whole sky is a textured planed with a noise on it, but whatever, I'm guessing they mean Kratos and what happens to him isn't bound to where he is at the moment he fights, stuff might happen far away or Kratos might suddenly go to a place seen far in the distance).
- Still linear in the way you move through the environment with specific camera angles.
- 1080P
- NO MENTION OF 60FPS, only that they want "perfect framerate" as in "stable framerate" (no drops). No loading.
- Collaborate with ND and Insomniac to share tips/info.
- More "sex/y scenes".
- Use of backgrounds in the finishing moves (smash an enemy against the wall until rumbles fall on him).
- 15 enemies at once, not more because it would impair gameplay.
- Reaching for a wide audience, keeping the game accessible in control/etc.
- To take control of the cyclop you need to get through a QTE sequence.
- Some enemies attack in organized units (like centaurs). Taking out the leader has an advantage of sorts.
- No pegasus.
- Magic and red orbs are still there. A good mix of weapons to use and switch between at any time.
- Puzzles aren't head-scratching, they don't want to break the rhythm.
- Kratos can now wall-run

I can't think of anything to complain about.

if not adult and wall run is seen in one of the trailers 1080p (progressive scan) it is great and no framerate drop is also good but no sixaxis is bad.

Please your really making me mad and I finished both on hard difficulty but the most important thing is that you get the gameplay concept and mechanics + the game engine used .I finished the first GOW's challenge and the second I reached the 6th but both on god rating.That's what I have done . And FF is the best JRPG ever even the soundtracks are awesome thanks to Nobou. 01_855403

Gent: This is true. Not only poor sport, but "trouble" if paired with certain other undesirable traits.

Numbers: I have to concur with the others. You really should do the 'Very Hard' runs and 'Challenges' at the very least. We would be all too happy to see you through it and I believe you would better enjoy the individual titles for your troubles (which wouldn't be too bad with us granting the tactics/tips/exploits/videos).

I don't care for saying "01". I prefer the mafia-esqe sound of this other dub...However I would be quite willing to go with your suggested nick should you really wish it..and agree to 'the above' runs/challenges..then perhaps the name could be given a pass for what it implies.

Very good. I suggest creating your own thread Ex: "name's Run Coverage" *fill in the underlined as you see fit*. Then we can keep up with whatever run you're doing prior to any sort of Specialty Run (which goes in said thread though you CAN still use your own thread too).

I don't have xfire or really know what it is (wasn't ever that interested) as I don't keep to any sort of online program. Not even things like Instant Messengers.

I have various ways of being contacted of course. For now I can only suggest these boards, PM *it's better if at the boards usually as others can give their own advice as well* and..that's about it as is.
