Besides GoWIII...E3 titles of interest:
Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack In Time - What little I played of "Tools of Destruction" was amusing.
Aliens VS Predator - Could be interesting if they don't do too terribly.
Lost Planet 2 - They've up'd their game with regards to 'bosses'..I'd like to see how they fix the other areas of the title. The story needs to drop the anime drama.
Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion - Got to beat down suckas as "King" in the future.
Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny - A challenger appears. KRATOS
Alan Wake - Sort of like Silent Hill. I'll just be keeping tabs.
Crysis 2 - Just graphical upgrades? I'd rather they focus on their physics and gameplay.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 - Extra weapons, spells, etc. for Ryu? 3 extra playable characters of varying play styles? New bosses, locales, etc.? Glorious as is. Perhaps they'll fix a few of the less desirable qualities...or not. Probably not.
Modern Warfare 2 - I'll probably just watch NGW coverage after release.
Left 4 Dead 2 - Meh.
Splinter Cell: Conviction - Never cared about this series in the past. This outing looks interesting, however...it probably won't get a rental out of me.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 - Never really finished watching the first be beaten...
Metroid: Other M - Terrible title for the game. Never played or watched any of the titles beaten, but I have a general idea of how things work. Being essentially a hybrid (with Ninja Gaiden)...it could prove interesting to follow.
Dead Space: Extraction - I'll just watch a review and perhaps a playthrough.
New Super Mario Bros Wii - Another future walkthrough to see rather then play.
Uncharted 2: Among Theives - The first was entertaining to watch and the dem was enjoyable. This outing looks quite a bit better no less. Could prove a worthwhile rental (or at least a watch) in the future.
The Last Guardian - Having now seen Ico (boring) and long ago playing Shadow of the Colossus (enjoyable enough) *plus speedruns to impress*..I know it should at the very least be worth keeping an eye on.
Overlord II - I liked the demo of the first, but never got a chance to rent and beat it. Perhaps I'll instead start with this one. Hard to say.
Batman: Arkham Asylum - The developer walkthrough was fairly interesting. Voice talent is there. Not sure about everything else.
Muramasa: The Demon Blade - Should the chance to play ever be offered, it would prove a good diversion.
Assassin's Creed 2 - The first had a little going for it...but got bogged down by bad design, terrible filler objectives and glitches. The second says it will address the latter two. We'll see about 'bad design' when it's all said and done..
Dead Rising 2 - I wasn't that into the first and probably won't care about the second. I'd rather be killing humans.
Prototype - Releasing soon. We'll see how it holds up to its forerunner...and if it compares in critical success to Infamous. I have doubts about the latter. I doubt I'll care for character interactions, the presentation of the story could be amusing if kept in brief bursts, basics of navigation/gameplay should be gratifying and easy. Bosses....hard to say. A rental to be sure. Like Infamous. Perhaps 'Wolverine' as well.
Dark Void - Still has potential to be an interesting/okay game. A sequel would have the chance for GREAT imrovements. That story/character just isn't going to cut it though..Our foes as shown thus far are just robotic proxy of aliens..
Darksiders: Wrath of War - Looking quite good. Could even be a purchase in the future.
~That about covers it all. I've yet to look at the new 'Castlevania'...
