Just wonderful. I especially like the feeling of wanting to rip out my lungs and throat.

Any of you guys saw the trailer for movie Ninja Assassin? The guy's got chains tied to his fists, with blades at the end. Bloody chains, with blades.

And the story is, his own mentors betraying and killing him [or they thought they did]. And did I mention chains, with blades at the end? Yeah, chains, with blades at the end.

Here we go! Watching the trailer only two words came to my mind... 300 and Kratos. 300, coz trailer has a similar opening, narration and music. This will either be epic, or epic fail. Still not sure which one. Supposed to be really gory... Kratos level gory.

 WRT the chain blades, kind of limp wristed.

I don't know if you guys have seen this before but it is an excellent mixture of 300 and GoW. Now if HBO would stop playing The Dark Knight ALL THE TIME I could actually watch a different movie. As for that game it looks like it definitely could be something. What console will it be for?

It's actually a movie, so the will definitely be a multi-plat.

And talking of Dark Knight, any of you gentry folk interested in Batman: Arkham Asylum? 

solid: It is the game.

Alucard: Same here... waiting to see how the combat and controls play out. Would help if they released a demo. The visuals seem consistent with dark tone of the graphic novel, but voice acting [saw the Harley Quinn video?] seems off.

There is a demo. It's just not been released online. They've had it available to play in shops all over, it's a couple of simple combat maps though, doesn't let you try out stealth.

Most of the voice actors are returning from the animated series, so personally I think it's all good.

Alucard: I vastly prefer he proper attire to the 'new one'...

One should hope that is unlockable as an alternative.

What have you been playing, what GoW runs are you doing?

I know that no one asked but I've been playing a little of the old Motorstorm demo lately. The boost function really suits my driving style, slam it sideways on the brakes/handbrake, square the corner off and blast out of the other side.

I might return to having my liver pecked out by the Transaltor fight after I have been out to grab some dinner.

Not in GoW unfortunately.

In Ninja Gaiden II I have made it up to the Amazonian Death Worm (damn it all) on my Aco NUR+. Only broke one controller between Chapter 5 (where I was at my last update) and now. Completed all Tests of Valor successfully. (Mech Ninja/Rocket Ninja ToV was rather PAINful) 

Anyone else just watch Usain *wot no insain* Bolt just obliterate teh 100m world record?

Nay. We've murdered and burned away the casual remnants of the past. Cutting that fat away has left us lean. We'll continue on as such for years to come.

The age of MAZ ended when he just closed shop on TUGOWU v1. The era of curlfro ended when those like myself altered TUGOWU v2 at its core. It was going to happen sooner or later. We've been like this for a long while now. The bulk of our dealings are at alt.TUGOWU and even then, we prefer to keep things "light".

We'll never give away TUGOWU proper though. It's home base afterall. Our glorious front and link to the past. See how we've changed? Feel free to take it all in.

Having the door's closed on new users slows things down...even more so if the only one doing approving is the fellow least interested in dealing with the new people *that weren't specifically invited*.

~It'll be a long while before the familiar trash of other unions show up here again. The union games, casual topics, OT trash, etc. The focus has shifted (for us) to gameplay discussions...progress reports on specialty runs, speedruns, glitch/exploit runs, fun runs, etc. We'll help new player with a smile. Just don't expect us to be the kindest souls of GS.

YES!!! FINALLY!!!

Err.. sorry, had to let it out after finding out about PS3 slim and the price drop. Now only if God of War III were coming in November, I'd buy the GOWIII PS3 bundle. I'll end up spending same money as earlier, only now I'd be able to spend the savings made on PS3 on a bigger HDTV. 

It's not like you can't play it.

Just that when you do, it'll look like crap.
