*OT* Kratos (GoW series) v/s Starkiller (SW:FU/SC4)

Kratos - The Ghost of Sparta who was able to do the impossible and kill a god and become the next God of War, along with being the one to almost kill Zues.

Starkiller - Probably one of the most powerful force-users in the Star Wars universe and was personally trained by Darth Vader and who is the son of a Jedi.

Who do you think would win in a fight?

We don't encourage OT topic creation typically nor "VS" topics in general.

My own stance towards "VS" is that there is NEVER enough thought put into the question..that burden is one the Topic Creator and were I to detail all such conditions I could think up (and there would be more)..it would never get anyway but the process would be amusing.

These aren't encouraged in social boards as they invite flaming. Baiting fanboy behavior. Here it would be less of an issue only because the average voter would have a bias they bring in being a member of this union.

~I'll allow this topic (for now)..but I don't encourage new users to create a poll (let alone a VS topic...a rather annoying OT type *one that isn't even marked here*) early on..let alone one I don't see as well thought out..and to be perfectly clear. NOTE: What's your standing with SW:FU? I trust you've at least seen the Dark and Light Side endings...perhaps beaten Sith Master...would you perhaps be interested in Specialty Runs and speedrun tricks (exploits/glitches/skips) for that title?

Im not really against either Starkiller or Kratos, but im going to go out on a limb and say that Starkiller did bring down a whole a Star Destroyer by himself. Could Kratos do something that destructive?Dusty114

Atlas holds up the world, he could easily swat a Star Destroyer from the sky. Atlas could not crush Kratos with forefinger and thumb. Therfore Kratos > than Starkiller.

All this is based on fuzzy logic and random assumptions. As are all fanboi VS topics.

This is an off-topic thread to begin with. One I opted to humor (at best). Realistcally I shouldn't have. Though we shouldn't be ranting and raving and carrying on either, at least the latter is 'fun'.

To post without respect to the topic is a time honored tradition even in those that do interest us. It just sort of happens without consideration.

I don't feel NEARLY sufficient thought was put into this thread in any regard. I believe I painted that picture clearly. The union rules, GS ToS, etc. haven't been paid any mind with this thread's creation (to begin with). "VS" threads are typically in bad taste. They are also just horrible to bring up if you should want serious discussion on the internet *typically*... nevermind getting fans/favoritism/bias/ignorance invovled.

I provided a "GOOD" look at 'vs' that happens to understand the topic at its core...which is to say it doesn't even try to give a REAL answer to the question posed. It would be foolish to do so. As harsh as all that is, the case stands.

Respect goes so far to begin with (provided it isn't absent). We here at TUGOWU (of the now) are a tad different than what you may remember...a little 'sword rattling' is just "sport". Those that get this and work with it tend to do just fine. A select few they are as they need also be interest in GoW to the extent that they go beyond the basic experience.

You'll have to elaborate. Short posts like that just don't cut it. Being concise is one thing...detailed another..that is neither. I feel I don't have the whole message after reading it.

The way i am looking this on this thread is that its getting a lot of posting on it.

~I'm quite close (as is) to proposing these topics be barred at TUGOWU and OT/Poll rights be suspended to the point that Leader approval is needed. It's better than just destroying each as they appear and explaining individual cases. These topics COULD work..but it's not likely they would get the 'energies' placed in them to qualify as legitimate...it's all but settled as I see it. In fact..I should have approached this as such long ago. Good came out of this afterall it seems.

Polls..it's true we don't really care for them...but they have their uses now and then. There is a tendency to save it for 'business' however. The proposal would be to 'ban' VS topics as no one is EVER going to go through the effort to properly set one up let alone find users ANYWHERE on GS willing to discuss it at length in the proper sense. Sad but true. As for polls and OT...I was only going to suggest they be treated like "union games" in that they require approval by the Leader.

What makes you so certain Alucard would just go with the suggestion or that I'll even propose it right away?

Of course that would be fine..so long as the 'debate' is within reason. "VS" just aren't a good topic to use in all seriousness. I couldn't help, but notice their presence at the Star Wars union...players shyed away from serious SW:FU discussion in favor of other garbage. That was the only point of interest I had in being there...to find other serious players and perhaps learn a little...have a running mate for even higher runs than those I'd already done. New tricks, exploits, tactics/tips, tidbits, etc.
