Be sensible hiccup.
[Q] How can I defeat the Cyclops (in God mode) in the early part of roof-tops of Athens? I jumped up by using the parallel walls, and entered in the room with few archers & many wraiths. I killed them and went up to clear but met with two Cyclops and many wraths and consistently died for more than 5 times! Any tips?

Sorry that I posted when I shouldnt. Well a tip for hnling to you is blocking when the wraiths come and then rolling and evading those big troll. Killing the wariths is the hard part because they come into the ground alot so when you have the chance attack them and keep on doing the until they are open, but you got to be careful because those pesky trolls attack you constantly all the time while you are attacking the wraiths. After that kill the trolls remember to roll and evade alot when they are about to attack.
If you have lvl3+ Chaos Blades or Level 3 Artemis handy..I can offer some alternate ways to battle the Cyclops...I'm not great at explaining so bare with me.
BoC: The attack to watch for when battling the Cyclopes will be his swipe to smash combo. Double Jump *when he isn't already attacking* into its face and unleash a flurry of either L1+[ ] (Cyclone of Chaos) or L1+/ \ (Falling Hellios). Be wary of the downward swing *smash* and immediatly use R1 while still airborne (Hermes Stomp) to dive through the Cyclops...IMMEDIATLY roll upon hitting the ground..Unlike most cases with the Hermes Stomp you can move during his landing animation quite quickly with a roll (Right Analog). Whenever the oppurtunity to use the minigame presents itself I advise you use it.
Lvl3 Artemis: When Cyclops is open for attack (such as after an attack) use R1 (dashing attack). The attack hits multiple times per use *5 total* and I suggest the [ ] ender to this attack (similar to Revenge of Artemis *L1+[ ]*) as this will usually finish the job.Â
NOTE: if you should be attacked or believe you will you can roll out of this *any part of the suggested attack* at any point. I advise you use the option.
~Also...Poseidon's Rage Lvl2+ Rapes hard...use it FTW
Is there any block the trolls other than to evade them?lvlUNE3B
Dude what I did is kill the wraithes and archers first. then when you go up, kill the wraiths there and don't hit the cyclopes and jus dodge him. When the wraithes are dead lead the Cyclopes to where the little barrier is and stay on the other side of it. from there do your heavy combo and kill him! If he gets ditracted, then ggo and lead him to the barrier again!
always find cover....not matter what kind of game...
Right now I am doing the game for the 3rd time but this time GOD MODE....man i dont know how many people have actually beaten the game on God mode but it is a pain in the ass...haha but i love it...muhahahaha :):):):)TriPPZz
Now for the real fun guys, amirite?
~The Clones will give you a good time (when you believe you've mastered the game I have a few challenges for you)
1. Get to the Clone Fight on God Mode without using EXP orbs (you may ONLY upgrade your health/magic). This is known as a NUR by veterans.
2. Of course I should expect you to beat the Challenge of the Gods (its in the treasures section if you didn't know). They unlock extra costumes.
3. Beat Spartan with Bubbles.
4. *for LOADS of laughs* Beat Mortal with Ares Armor or Tycoonius (I prefer Tycoonius since it gives me 200% attack and 400% EXP orb potency and Easy won't be killing a God Mode veteran to begin with)
@herrid - Congrats for completing God Of War and please post anything OFF-Topic in 'Off-Topic Section'.
@Ownage1020 - Well that challenge was easy but if you get frustrated you'll lose easily. And if you have played hard or God mode then you'd know how to block and evade so simply use Plume of Prometheus and Blade Of Chaos well in time.. Also you can discuss any challenge here and if you need more help watch it here.
GodModeGOD's Guide to beating the clones
Â
Requirements:
-Have FULL Magic/Health (TIP: When the O is present on Ares and you need more health/magic just keep using combos on him *be careful about his recovery hammerstrikes)
-lvl5 Blades of Chaos (BoC), lvl3 Poseidon's Rage (PR) and lvl3 Army of Hades (AoH)
-RotG (TIP: Use RotG on Ares early in the battle since after the minigame the RotG meter fills to MAX anyway...you'll need it)
---I don't advise a first time God Mode attempter to have less than this setup.
Â
Â
1. Grab the 1st clone to your right *just for fun* (TIP: grabbing them takes time but it auto-kills and gives magic orbs)
2. Wait for the Clones to get close to your family and close half the distance between you and them.
3. When the Clones have taken just over 3/4 of your family's health it is time to unleash the AoH and run between them, immediately double jumping into the air above/between them and unleash 2 PR *while tapping O like a madman* (of course you should be in the air doing the tapping and you WILL be practically out of Magic by this point).
4. Before the 2nd PR ends unleash the RotG and release 1-3 more PR *it depends so check the AoH icon between blasts*, then a AoH, then a stream of PR until your RotG has ended.
5. Quickly heal your family to fill your RotG meter to between 1/2 and 3/4 full. *During the process of annihilating the clones with Magic you should have accumulated enough to cast another AoH since you DON'T use up Magic at Lvl5 BoC in RotG mode.
6. Let your family sustain damage and quickly cast AoH.
7.  Heal your family and as soon as your RotG meter fills activate RotG and cast AoH *if it has resolved*, and double jump into the air unleashing 3-4 PR followed by another AoH with a stream of PR to end this fight *if for whatever reason this hasn't ended the fight..simply crush the remaining 1-3 clones however you feel best*

No problem..it's what I do with my time..I might as well be good at it.
~Don't forget to keep my updated on your God Mode progress ownage
Just to be sure..you have the following:
lvl4 BoC
lvl2 Artemis
lvl2 Poseidon's Rage
lvl2 Zeus' Fury
lvl2 Medusa's Gaze
~If this is the case..this will be interesting
I need you to tell me the exact situation you're in to make this as easy for you as possible but I'll start with a basic strategy to accomodate.
When you first entered this area there were two chests (magic and health) and at the entrance of the sacrificial chamber there were two more (alternating between magic/health).Â
Take notice of the rock mounds on the hill leading to your goal (They can hold the cage while you fight). TIP: you don't have to put the cage squarly on the mound (even 1/2 will do) so you can leave the cage on a mound whilst clearing the area quickly and continue on to the next mound *or to the finish*.
Know the cage physics (most importantly 1. the cage slides 2. pushing up hill does nothing 3. pushing on flat/descending surfaces is FAST).Â
My first piece of advice, if you haven't done so already, is to MASTER the parrymanuever (Hades Revenge)Â ( [Â ] for cross sweep / \ for plume: R1 for stab dash )
Knowing how to approach the Undead Captain is also important here *if you haven't already mastered combat against them I suggest you take a break form pushing the cage and practice on them*:
Read THIS for some enemy advice *if someone actually posts I'll start aiding MANY more tips/strategies*
~If you need more help be sure to give me some specifics *I don't have my game right now as I'm letting my brother-in-law borrow it for a God Mode run*
Well when I first kick the Spartan in the cage down I kill the first enemy in less than a minute. But as I get the Spartan to the third mound of rocks I ussualy start to lose a lot of health and magic. So I kill the sorrounding enemies with Posiedens rage and go to one of the two chests for health. So when I'm almost at the sacrifiacial chamber i get ambushed by three undead soldiers and then egt hit while the Spartan in the cage slide down the hill.By this time I am almost out of health so I break for the other chest and kill the sorrounding soldiers. As I make my way down to get the spartan I get ambushed again but since there are no more chasts I die.
Here are the specific things i do when coming to this part of the game.^

I'll do two things for you:
My Strategy for you:
It sounds like you already used the two chests by the save point and have only the 2 near the sacrificial chamber left so I'll advise from here:
-Push the cage down to the ground below and begin pushing it uphill heading straight for the first rock mound *there are four as you can see*
-As you push, you will be attacked by an Undead Captain so drop the cage in front it to keep it from sliding back down *think of these rocks as checkpoints* I suggest Gorgon Flashing *L2+/ \*  the first Captain (to kill him quickly).
-Immediatly after killing him take the cage to the next rock mound (2nd checkpoint) and kill the Captain who spawns with Gorgon Flash (at lvl 2 it takes 2 per Captain I believe) and continue to the third rock mound.
-Once you have made it to the 3rd and secured the cage on the rock get some Magic (You might want to kill one of the Captains first) and continue imploring the strategy I've suggested.
-Once you are getting to the fourth you must look to see *or hear for* a Captain spawning..if not then make a rush for level ground to rest the cage on..if there is enemies approuching, rest the cage of the final rock mound and use Posedon's Wrath (PR+lots of O mashing). Then you should be home free.Â
Here is the other gift:
Video Example *part 11* from one of the best (God Mode Run by ballofsnow)Â
I suggest low-medium quality as high-insane are not necessary.
~If after going over everything I've said and watching the video, you still can't get through it please respond with where you are going wrong *more details*Â in using the strategies I and ballofsnow have provided.
No problem
~I bet you can't wait to get the battle with the clones started...that is always a favorite for  God Mode runnersÂ
I'm stuck at a part, and I have no idea where to go. I got Poseidon's Trident. I jumped into the water that surrounds Poseidon, and dove down into that cave. Eventually you pull a handle, and rocks behind Poseidon move out so that you can climb them and enter a cave, here's a picture to help.
Once I go through that cave, I don't know what to do next. I think I have to get past this one room that has a moving wall. You dive down into the room, and if you stay in there to long, this wall comes out from the right side of the screen, and keeps moving until you get butchered through some wires. Sorry....it's really hard to describe. Yoshi25
I know exactly where you are..giving instructions for platforming/trap sections has never been one one of my strong points but I'll see what I can do for you..here are some notes:
1. Use/Master the R1 (hold-release) dash *I can't stress its importance enough as you'll also need it shortly after clearing this part*
-It takes about 4 seconds to fully charge the underwater dash but 3 seconds will do most of the time
-The first pit is close while the 2nd pit will take around 3 charged dashes to clear in time
-The final pit is the exit
2. Realize there is a chain pulling the blades and it runs along the middle *you can get caught on it causing undo frustration
3. Notice the pits along the path...You can use them to duck under the wall of death as it comes. NOTE: You can sometimes get hit even though it doesn't look like it should so hold [ ] and move around until it passesÂ
~I'm not really sure how helpful I can be with describing the solution to your problem but if this doesn't help I'll keep trying
