"Your in Spyro's world" rpg

Yes, I have made 3 topics in the proximety of a couple of hours. These ideas just come to me after playing certain games like Dirge of Cerberus.

Anyway heres how this will work. Some sort of magically force transports you into Spyro's world and you must save the world! Okay....doesn't seem that original right!? Well actully I haven't thought of the storyline yet. Basically what will happen is that you guys create a chacter and transport them into Spyro's world (you get to create the looks, powers (can't be one hit kills or stuff like that), and how they get into Spyro's world via a pillar of light, portal, experiment gone wrong, a tornado, etc. You may also have your chacter turn into a dragon or another species that appeared in the Spyro series).

After creating your chacter I will tell you where you are, whats in front of you, if theres anyone to talk to, shops, monsters, the works. Then you choose what you want to do and depending on your choices the story will unfold differently and your chacters may earn or may not earn special items.

I thought this could be something fun everybody can do until Dawn of the Dragon comes in because it still feels like a mile away.

Cool. I will wait until tomarrow or Monday before I start the game so as to let more people join in (They can also come in at anytime during the game). In the meantime you guys can create your chacters. If anyone has trouble making a chacter I will create parts for you to choose from so as to make it easier for you to make your chacter. Also describe how you get transported into Spyro's world. And then afterwards I shall begin the adventure!

I thought about what you said Reviewking and I came up with 3 soulutions. I noted the advantages and disadvantages to each one to help everyone decide. Please tell me your votes to which option you want to use. The one with the most votes will be the one we use.

1. Create a chat room on chatango.com.

Advantages- Can tell when we are all online and we will be able to play in real time.

Disadvantages- Everyone has different plans in their normal lives so it's very hard to find a good time when about 6 people are on the same website at the same time. And also since I am extremly busy in the fall it's very hard for me to find enough free time to play a game. I sometimes get a hour to play something. So basically this could work but it would be very very hard.

2. Each player has seperate adventures.

Advantages- Everyone doesn't have to be online at the same time for this to work.

Disadvantages- If we do have everyone go on seperate adventures I will eventully lose track of what happened and the story will unfold weirdly. This is because I would be working with 5 adventures instead of just 1.

3. Each player takes turns making the choices and moving the group.

Advantages- No one has to be online all the time for this to work. We can still have it on the forums. I only have to concentrate on 1 adventure. Sort of simulates online gameplay as each member changes the group's fate.

Disadvantages- Takeing turns might seem weird to others.

Well my vote goes to #3. And also I like to have this on the forums because since I am very busy I can post something and then after I finish what I did I can come back and follow the course of the game. And also if we had this in real time I don't think I would be able to think of stuff in a matter of minutes. Anyway what does everyone else think?

Name: Blayze

Appearance: deep blue scales, black claws with red tips. Tail fades from blue to purple to red and ends in the same sort of blade as the glaive. Breast plates are red and purple, alternating. Dorsal scales are glaive blades.

Powers: as a human i amvery skilled with the glaive, and as a result my dorsal scales are glaive blades, and my special power is the ability to "throw" them like boomerangs. Going along with the dragon theme, i can ignite these blades as i throw them.

How i got to Spyro's world:

One day after a hard training session with the glaive, I go to the steam room to cool down. But on the way, I see a strange light blue light coming from behind the door of a friend of mine. Her name is Cynder. Strange for my country, but she was such a good fighter that nobody questioned her. Besides, i couldnt talk, my parents had named me Blayze. I entered her room, not expecting to see cinder standing in front of a glowing hole in the wall. I called her name and stumbled back to the doorway. She cursed and came after me. "you've seen too much" she whispered in my ear as she grabbed me by the waist and threw me through the portal. I saw her jump in after me, and then everything became a whirl of color. I could hear a strange haunting music growing louder; I could also see a light coming towards me. It finally all came to a crescendo when the hole spit us out in the middle of a cave...

Okey-dokey.....

Name: Hyperion

Apperance:
The fifth Dragon Elder. Cast away for eternity for double-crossing the Four Dragon Guaridians and attempting to destroy the Temple. A huge, mono-colored, steel gray dragon with piercing orange eyes. Has a circular pattern of short blunt horns on his skull a tinge darker than his scales. Wears a necklace holding a circular ancient looking relic, black in color. Tail same color as body, and fades to deeper grey at tip. Large "spike ball" growth connected to tip of tail. Short tempered, but very patient....

Powers:
Not much is known, but he possesses the power of Telekensis. His ability has mastered to the point that he can take control of anything and levitate it in any way he chooses.

How he/she gets to Spyro's world:
After being casted away from the Dragon Temple, Hyperion joined the side of the Dark Master, Malefore. With time continuing to roll on, Malefore instructs Hyperion that their are five Dragon Relics scattered across the world, one of which hangs around Hyperion's neck. The Fire Relic of Berylsythe, Earth Relic of Thraklor, Ice Relic of Fayveer, and Electric Relic of Zygoren, combined with Hyperion's own relic of Telekensis, can unlock a portal in which Malefore can escape from and bring back one soul back from the grave. Knowing this, Hyperion seeks out these relics and with the help of Malefore, enters into Spyro's world. Destined to take the world and seek revenge upon the Four Dragon Guardians.

Name: Mark

Appearence: a young dragon in his teens. he has golden scales with a dragon stmbol on his chest, his nails are black and his tail is wavy. His horns are straight and he has gold eyes.

Powers: He can breath fire, ice, lightning and earth. he can also breath other elements like holy, darkness, and cosmic. Basically like my main character in my story.

How he got to the Dragon Realms: I was standing out on my deck, looking out into the night sky. As i stared at the sky i wished i could go to another place and leave the Human world behind. Suddenly a beam of light shot down on me and i felt myself lifting off the ground. I sson felt the wind rush past me before i passed out.

Okay, yes this is my main character in my story i no, but i always wanted to see what he would look like in a game. Plus i thought it would be cool.

Here's my character. This one was created when I was in the fourth grade... :|

Name: Zed

Appearance: (Brief Bio) He is currently the King of Dragons in his world. Peace exists between his kind and the humans. However, his greatest enemies, the Scarins, threaten his race and the humans, so he must patrol the world to ensure the survival of both. He is wise, strong, and loyal to his kind. He will do anything to protect those he cares for, even if it means his life.

Because of the experiments done to him by the Scarins in their attempt to assemble an army to take control of the planet, he is a mutant dragon who has the ability to transform into two egos.

True form - This enormous form has a grayish tone of skin color with spikes running across his back. Three large spikes protrude at the end of his tail. His eyes are a sapphire dark blue. This body posses great strength, but is very slow. Although, this is what he really suppose to be, he hardly uses this form, because he wants to use his enemies' own weapon against them.

Mutant form - This body has three heads with a golden skin color. (Closely resembles King Ghidorah from the Godzilla movies, except he has arms and a single tail.) His left head can use ice beams. His right head uses fire beams. And his middle head can use lighting beams. All three can fire at the same time, and when combined, makes a huge blast capable of destroying almost anything in its path.

How he got to Spyro's world:

He is caught in the middle of a storm during one of his patrols while over the sea and gets lost. An instability in space and time creates a dimensional distortion that transports him to an unfamiliar world.

His mission is to find a way back to his home world.

Okay I will start the game now. But before we begin I will like to tell you the order of who chooses first (it will go from the first person who made their chacter (which is Essence) and it will follow in that order. Also I will give you a number of choices to choose from so you don't have to think up what you have to do.

"Blayze, Hyperion, Mark, Zed, and Bdog appeared in a forest together. They were all confused and dazed on how they came to this world. They each greeted each other and decided to work together to return to their normal worlds. (Yeah, I'm not going to go indepth here). The group walked along the forest path until they came to a large structure. The forest seemed quiet and peaceful near the structure. There were also small statues of dragons that were next to it's entrance which was a large wooden door. The structure seems mysterious and could also lead to a portal which could bring the group back to their worlds. But the rest of the forest has yet to be explored and the group must figure out what the dangers are in this world if they are ever to survive."

Choices: - Go into mysterious structure

-Explore the forest more

This is how I will do the format and sorry if it's written fast I need to get into a flow and I don't get much time (also I wouldn't have any time later tonight so I was trying to start it right now).

Yay, it's starting.

Okay, guess what everybody...I have a plot! I know the key points that I will go on so the game will be more entertaining. You may thank the zed-fate song which I keep listening to like 500 times.

"The group enters the mysterious structure. It was dark and slightly murky inside of it. As they cautiously walked further into the structure the wooden door abruptly closes behind them. The group finds out that they are lock inside the structure. The sun began to rose over a small hole in the ceiling. The light from the sun illuminated the room casting away the shadows but revealing a black and purple dragon staring at the group in resentment. "Leave this place now or die!" the purple one said. The group was startled by this remark but knew they couldn't leave the structure. "Get out of here!" the black one exclaimed. The group was running out of time and had no means of escape. The group began to notice a shadow that lingered over the black and purple dragon.

Choices: -Fight them

-talk them out of fighting

"The group decides to try to talk them out of fighting but even though they spoke to them in a calm and soft voice the two dragons lashed out blayze. Hyperion protected her from the attack. There was no choice but to fight them."

Yeahhhhh, I sort of made a double loop here so no matter what you picked all leads to the same destination. Mhahahaha, I'm Evil! I'm kidding really I actully wanted to try out a battle system to see if it works (depending on the results of this battle system I will either continue it like this or change it throughout the story but I won't stop the story if it goes wrong).

Anyway heres how it works:

You may choose from the following anytime:

-attack: a normal physical attack

-defend: take less damage against your oppoinett for one turn but skips your turn

-item: use a item (you all have none now)

-magic/skills: use one of your chacters powers

-escape: runaway from the battle (if someone uses this I will begin a chase sequence, if you don't find a way to stop the approaching enemies (and I will give you ideas; some will work some will fail) you will have to fight the enemies with no more escape option (the escape feature retreats the whole group btw). If it succeeds you continue the story but you don't earn any exp. There are also some battles you can't escape from like this one.

The stats of all your chacters are exactly the same (all have 350 hp and I will think up the rest later) but when your chacter levels up they will change in stats differently from each other (again I want to test out the battle system so this is sort of a test run with all these variables).

I won't start a battle until the player makes the first command then it will commence (unless of course I make a ambush event in which case the enemies attack first). Whomever attacks an enemy will attract that enemy's attention. Meaning that if Blayze attacks random enemy 1, random enemy 1 will only attack Blayze unless someone else attacks him. This way even if your not on the website that often you don't have to worry about your chacter dieing (unless it was a fatal blow). Also to keep this fair after you go you have to wait for the enemy to make a move before you may choose another command. If I didn't make this and I wasn't on the board for awhile after creating a battle, the enemies would already be dead XD.

Sorry for the long post but I needed to explain in detail how this would work (hopefully this will be the last long post on this topic). Anyway I hope this turns out well :).

I'm sorry I didn't mention this but it's neccesary. Please state who your attacking or healing so I know who loses hp and who gains hp.

Oh, okay. Here we go.

Hyperion will attack Enemy #1!!!! (hope I got this right)

Black dragon loses 10 hp. Total 90/100

Black dragon attacks hyperion.

Hyperion loses 10 hp. Total 340/350

Purple dragon defends. (You can pretty much see that you guys will win this but of course this is the first boss so what did you expect?)

Zed in his mutant form uses a Magic/Skill. He unleashes a Fire and Thunder Breath, simultaneously, at the black dragon.

The black dragon is engulfed by flames and lighting.

Black dragon loses 40 hp. (yep breaths are more powerful then normal attacks). total: 50/100

Zed's mp is reduced by 20. Total: 80/100

Black dragon uses shadow breath on zed.

Zed loses 30 hp. total: 320/350.

Black dragon loses 20 mp. Total 60/80.

Purple dragon continues to defend.

The black dragon is engulfed in flames once again and is blasted away with a earth attack.

The black dragon loses 50 hp and falls.

Mark loses 30 mp. Total: 70/100 (as in the legend of spyro, certain breathes do different amonunts of damage and cost different amounts of mp).

A dark shadow rises from her body. It's body is all black with red glowing eyes. It has no other facial features. The shadow draws another shadow from the purple dragon as the purple dragon falls from the seperation of the shadow. The two shadows fuse with each other and become a large demonic shadow. The shadow had red glowing eyes, a demonic smile, and two large claws. The rest of his body was ghost like. The shadow turned his attention to Mark.

The shadow attacks Mark with one of his giant claws.

Mark slammed to the ground by the attack and loses 60 hp. Total: 290/350 hp.

Shadow's hp: 50 (I think I will do a little scan thing when a new enemy appears so you know how powerful it is).

Hyperion watches her attack, waiting to defend.

The Shadow is probably dead, if it isn't i'll just use a normal attack.bd0g5
