Activity? I see no activity!

Except from me, Blade_Tr4iner and Zeta_Thompson.

Now, the worrying thing about this is that there doesn't seem to be ANY officers active at all! And it's summer holidays in America isn't it? So I would expect a higher level of activity in the summer.

However, I'm new to the Union so I might just be talking $@!*!

I'm even newer than you :P

I've seen this lull present in the other unions as well. The main culprit appears to be that people are going on holiday to places that don't have regular or reliable internet access (I'm lucky - my internet access is neither regular nor reliable right here at home :P )

Ok, now that I've done that. I'm an active officer as of today. I've been on trips and at parties over the last two weeks but I'm back for summer now. :D I'll start commenting on the new works soon, and will try and finish one of my own.

I DO have an idea for the next contest. Go to the Coolbits story generator. Take the weirdest of 3 and make us all write based on it Zeta_Thompson

It's a good idea, and for the record, I will be revisiting it as soon as I have time.

Unfortunately for myself, it's the start of summer. While for everyone else, summer means a time of fun and vacation, for me, it means people quitting or getting fired left and right (Example: In the last week, I've fired one person, and had three quit), which ultimately results in my working tons of hours. : Plus, I just started writing reviews for a website, which can amount to a rather opportunistic situation for myself, so I've been doing that, as well.

I have my story and some other projects started, but unfortunately work has me by the nose as of current. I do plan on making some time to swing through here and read the newer posts that are up (Just because I'm not posting doesn't mean I'm not aware of these goings on :D) and dole out some comments. I'll even try and finish my heartfelt story of yesteryear. :D

Cool :D I've got a new base idea source (I can write a story about almost anything with ease... It's just coming up with the first idea that's hard)

If you think I take joy in firing people, I do. Er, don't. That's a typo. :P Actually, the story of my first firing is pretty crazy. Maybe I'll tell it some time.

Also: I work in a kitchen, and there is no air-conditioning. During the summer it gets pretty ****ing ridiculous. Unfortunately, the owner of the business is far too great a douche to grant us lowly worker-drones with proper working conditions. I'm seriously contemplating calling the Department of Labor & Industries and giving an anomyous complaint about it, because I don't want to work another summer in a kitchen that can actually break 120º. Nobody should have to, for that matter.

I really hate certain facets of my job. ; ;
