The 20th anniversary Super Mario All Stars is something I will definitely get if possible.Evillordexdeath
How much is it supposed to cost?
IGN suggests it's price to be around $29.99, which is very affordable. However, I can't say for sure that I will be able to get even that much money before it becomes unavailable.
Presumably it's because Peach's Castle needs plumbing repairs quite frequently (Perhaps this is because of Bowser's attacks on it.)
If I remember correctly, in Mario's first appearance in the game Donkey Kong, he was depicted as a carpenter (which makes sense because with Donkey Kong chucking so many barrels at you, someone would have to rebuild them). The TV show story (yes there was a tv show) in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!, it is shown that Mario and Luigi ended up in the Mushroom Kingdom by getting sucked down a Warp Pipe connected to the drain of a bathtub that they were unclogging on a plumbing job in Brooklyn where the grew up. Though why the Mushroom Kingdom actually needs a pair of plumbers, is beyond me.Skyeagle
So Mario and Luigi are from New York? I thought they were Italian!!!
first I think you're talking about Mario Bros.
anyways yeah Italian communities are huge in NY,but Hispanics are growing :D
It is interesting to note that Mario's first appearance was actually in Donkey Kong and he was originally named Jumpman (clever huh) and his name was switched to Mario later in the Mario Bros. series. During his development he was named Mr. Video.

I didn't know that! The Mr. Video part, I mean
they called him Mario instead because American audiences would find Jumpman and "Lady" stupid namesIt is interesting to note that Mario's first appearance was actually in Donkey Kong and he was originally named Jumpman (clever huh) and his name was switched to Mario later in the Mario Bros. series.
