Greatest Nintendo Heroes
Our first ever contest was one to decide who was the greatest hero to appear in a Nintendo game. It spanned months due to activity, and featured some interesting results and some predictable ones.

Also known as the hero of time, the protagonist of The Legend of Zelda is a great hero indeed. Essentially courage and heroism incarnate, he and his descendants have been the savior of the land of Hyrule, among others, many times. His trademark skills include a mastery of swordsmanship and a variety of other tools, as well as a sharp wit.
Runner-Up: Professor Layton
The archaeologist and university professor Hershel Layton is our runner up! He has solved many a mystery, even in cases where everyone else had been stumped, and is always able to act like a true gentleman when doing so. The only tool of the trade the professor needs is his own mind. He's also a favorite of mine.
Contest prediction winner: Skyeagle
Apparently he has good taste, having voted with the majority in most instances.
