definitely 3. after rolling my car over the 1000th time... i was ready to scream. yet for some reason i kept playing. black would frustrate the crap out of me a lot of times, especially with minion and warhawk.

Well, I'll have to admit that it took me a long time to get used to the physics in Twisted Metal 2, since TM4 was the first I had played, and I had gotten used to those physics. It took me a long, long time to beat the Tour on normal using level codes if I died, and was even harder against Dark Tooth since you hardly stand a chance if you don't stock up on weapons in the Hong Kong battle before it. But now, it's not too hard. Except for Dark Tooth, he's still a killer. I haven't had TMIII for too long, so I haven't ever tried taking on the Tournament mode in it yet, but based on what I've played of the "Arcade" mode, I know it's going to be as aggravating as heck, mostly because of the car control and the lack of damage when ramming an opponent. And of course, flipping over constantly. But by far, the hardest "Hard" difficulty has to be in TM4. There is no running away from the action, and health won't appear even close to the rate that you'll need it. The only time I've beaten Tournament mode on that diffculty was using God Mode, since Moon Buggy was practically impossible to beat with it abusing its cheap special as the Neon City boss, and of course, Sweet Tooth. The rest of the other bosses were manageable one-on-one if you could make it that far.

I don't own the original Twisted Metal, but what I've seen of gameplay there were a lot of useless weapons. For example, the oil slick. Let's face it, oil slicks a useful pick-ups in kart racers, not car combat games. :P But if you could have l.it the oil on fire, that would have been useful, and cool. As far as I know, fire missiles, power missiles, homing missiles, and regenerating specials are the only weapons that appeared in every Twisted Metal.

there were also road spikes too i think. the oil slick were kind of useful on the rooftop battles, but overall, not at all

I'd have to say TM small brawl. I thought it was a pretty dissapointing game, and not really alot of fun. I think its the forgotten TM, probably because of the audience it was geared towards.

I totally forgot about Small Brawl. I remember seeing it in Gamepro and being excited because it reminded me of Toy Commander for Dreamcast, but god was it awful. The cut scenes were hard to watch or even take seriously.

I played all of them so far and it's got to be Twisted Metal 3.

I thought Twisted Metal: Small Brawl and 4 were okay.

Twisted Metal 4 was well thought out except for the missing endings as well as the overall story.

Twisted Metal: Small Brawl is fun to play though not having codes is somewhat a problem.

So now let's talk about Twisted Metal 3 this was horrible.

The levels were small, horrible hidden ones, got all the characters from the first two games wrong and the overall gameplay wasn't solid.

The endings succks but I really hate Sweet Tooth's ending in the game it's so bad that I pretend it don't exist.

I should go in depth why I hate Twisted Metal 3 so much but before I do I am aware that a lot of you actually like the game so please don't look at this post.

The story doeasn't make sense here's what I get out of it Calyspo wants to do an contest around the world now didn't he already do that with Twisted Metal 2.

That means there is no way Twisted Metal 3 could've have taken place in the time line.

What surprises me is they brought back Calypso's voice from Twisted Metal 2 to be in this one and 4 which ultimately ruins that actor's image for life.

Sweet Tooth's voice was so off with them deciding since the wanted to bring in younger fans to not include he is an serial murder what that is a big part of hs character can you do that.

That's like what happened in A Nightmare on Elm Street remake when they changed Freddy's background from being scary to just palm stupid.

Get this he now likes candies and ice creams what the hell man that isn't Sweet Tooth at all everyone knows he loves killing people while driving his ice cream truck.

His hair looks like some clowns you might see but it doesn't seem like something he would have in fact I love seeing him with an flame being his fair that makes him look demonic.

I said it once and I am going to say it again Sweet Tooth's ending in this game is the single worst ending of the series ever made.

He gets his tooth worked on from eating all the candies and ice creams he wants I feel almost the same as Dave Jaffe talking about him in his Dark Past video that's included in Head-On Extreme Twisted Edition.

Outlaw was just as bad they screwed up their hair and eye colors plus change their personality from stopping this competition to just stopping crime altogether now that's retarded why did they think that was a good idea.

Do you want to know what else I don't like about Outlaw they even screwed up their voices if I remembered correctly they were Americans not British.

I will take this time to apologize if I just offended anybody I am deeply sorry and I won't say stuff like that again on here.

Hammerhead is usally high school drop outs or just recently a Bounty Hunter now get this it's an old lady driving an Monster Truck are they blind that don't make any sense we they are drugs when they made this game.

Do you want to know what blows my mind about this version of Hammerhead she wants to end the competiton so she can watch TV that's so stupid that I would rather watch the show Jackass.

Mr. Grimm is supposed to be Grim Reaper that looks like Ghost Rider on his motorcycle now appears like an zombie are you kidding me this isn't him at all.

He looks so stupid compared to how it looks in the other games where he looks awesome it makes me mad because not too long ago I found out this was the one character the team would play as the most wow right.

The worst thing about him was his ending it's basically the same thing he wanted in the original which was Calypso's soul however the tables turn on him when he gets stepped on.

Oh so that's how you killed something beyond this world that just blows my mind farther it makes no sense in fact he would've killed him right on the spot.

Warthog usually it's a different soldier in the Jeep not including Cage from Twisted Metal: Black that competes in this competiton however they reused the same one from Twisted Metal 2 why.

He didn't have the body he gotten from his wish in Twisted Metal 2 while asking for a head that matches when he gets his hand put in a jar.

What that's not what I was expecting I thought he was going to get an head of wanted terrorists that would've got ended up being shot to death but that didn't happen.

Axel wanted to become one with his vehicle which turns out Calypso change him into a clock instead I bet 989 Studios didn't play the games before making Twsted Metal 3 didn they.

His voice wasn't as close as bad as most of them are so I will give him some credit for that but this game just blew my image of Axel right out the window.

Minion comes back however he doesn't want to sent Calypso back to Hell he wants it the other way around wait so the devil can't go back to Hell when did that ever happen.

I don't like how he looks in this game at time I thought it was cool but after seeing Minion in Twisted Metal and Black it just sucks pretty bad.

He gets to Hell but not the one you would be thinking he was sent to Hell, Michgan which lasted I check is a real place wait who thought that was funny I think it was pretty stupid.

Firestarter is one of their original characters that wasn't great he wants to set the fire on world however his ending forever ruins the chance for ever liking the character.

He gets barcque in an giant now didn't he want to set the world on fire this isn't funny in fact you just ruin your only chance for me ever liking the guy.

Auger was kinda a replacement for Mr. Slamm which wasn't better than him oh you would never guess why he is competitng please take a good guess.

He wants to stop the competition so he can continue building what Mr. Slamm wanted to build the World's tallest building which was a short lived success.

It wasn't as stupid as what Outlaw or Hammerhead wanted but it's sure up there which isn't a good thing to consider really.

He gets turn into a baby which he didn't want at all how in the hell did they decided let's turn him into a baby that wasn't funny do you want to see an better take on this then go watch Mr. Slamm's ending in Head-On that was funny.

Flower Power wants to stop this competition to save the environment well I personally don't like why she is here thought her reason makes so much more sense than everyone else.

She ends up getting two giant plants trying to eat her oh really so this is really the best you guys could come up this isn't entertaining though I don't like Flower Power very much.

Thumper is back from Twisted Metal 2 to hang out with his hoodies wait couldn't he do that outside this competition WTF man that's pretty stupid.

He ends being like those giant dices you put on the mirrors in your cars with some of the other characters this is beyond horrible ths is one of my least favorite games of all time.

I could go and on about how much I hate this game to me it's a horrible rip off of Twisted Metal 2 though non canonically a sequel to that game.
