Hello there! Access is working now, nice.

Anyway, I'm not quite sure what to make of this place right now. On the first glance, it seems like it's mainly for the Game Reviewers and News Blogger. But I think I found one or two links to poetry websites, so I wonder, are more traditional forms of literature encouraged as well?

I'd love to share some poetry and/or short stories.

So well, what's the topic policy for this forum? Does everyone get a thread for his works, shall there be a new topic for each piece of writing or something entirely different? I'd love to help extending the FAQ, btw. :P

I know I'm a tad late in responding, and I'm not the authority on how the board will be set up for posting your own works you'd like to discuss, but I would venture that one topic per work is appropriate so that the discussion can remain on that one piece instead of bouncing between various writings.

Also, I don't see why you can't post any of your own writing for which you'd like some editing recommendations. I could see the union focusing on submissions for contests or front-page assignments getting editing priority should this union become super popular and busy, but from my understanding this union is dedicated to providing a place to have any of your works critiqued (beyond homework assignments).

Do you have any further suggestions? I appreciate your questions and interest in presenting your work, and I hope we get to see it soon!

I agree with this idea.  Of course, contests and submissions are incredibly important, but it wouldn't hurt for any aspiring writer here in GS to have reviews (or maybe blogs flagged as editorials) critiqued.  I'd like to see the Writer's Roundtable help a lot more people who have the itch for writing.

Thanks for the replies. I guess this union is peer-driven, so I'll take your word and share a little horror story I've written.

It's in THIS thread.
