Not at all. From what I've heard, they are getting the ever sought after Velocity timeslot :?.

Spike TV is working out with the brand name "TNA". They're afraid that people are going to take it the wrong way, and they want NWA to change it. Hopefully, Spike TV will let 'em keep it, 'cause I do not want 'em to change.
You know what, Spike TV is the first network for men, so why in the hell would they even consider changing the TNA name?

I wouldn't cry if TNA had to change their name. TNA has been a pretty dumb name for a wrestling promotion from the beginning, IMO. Its not like it'll hurt its fan base, the only people watching TNA these days are the die-hards, who don't really cared what they called it.Spike TV is working out with the brand name "TNA". Plus, when you are promoting PPVs like "TNA presents Hard Justice" or "TNA presents Lockdown," it really does sound like you are promoting a porn company, not a wrestling company.
I'm happy they got this deal, but it doesn't really affect me. I'm in Miami and Impact has been on Fridays at midnight for me since it went off of FSN.
As for the TNA name, I don't think it would be a problem if they went with the NWA name. They are the biggest branch of it nowadays.
SpikeTV has ordered a seven second delay for RAW tonight due to the nipple slip fiasco from two weeks ago, as well as fear of nasty language being used in the "Diva Trash Talk" segment tonight, as there was in last year's contest during a similar skit.Oooooooooo, TNA and WWE going head to head on real cable channels.....this is gonna be great
The TNA deal with SpikeTV is said to be signed, sealed, and confirmed. There is a small legal issue, which will expire imminently, that has delayed SpikeTV making the deal official. As soon as that issue expires, which we're told is "moments away," the announcement will be made public. We expect this as soon as tomorrow. TNA in its' videos teased this in a cryptic backwards sort of way, as we reported about earlier.
I dont even care if its the Velocity slot im just glad they will be back on TV
