World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of Bob Orton. We wish him the best in all future endeavors.

Why? There was a thread for the Heart Throbs, so why not Orton?

Why was he released?  Was it because he had hepititis and mixed blood with Undertaker? dRehkJY

I don't know if that's the reason, but I'm glad he's gone since that is a definite health risk with him being there.

It's pretty obvious it was related to the whole saga involved with Taker. Anywho, I don't see why they decided to make his departure public considering that we weren't told that he had signed a contract in the first place, let alone if he was staying around long-term.   hbk91

Probably so it doesn't come back to bite the WWE later... either that or so it's public knowledge that Bob Orton doesn't work there anymore.

Cowboy Bob made 2 worthwile appearances in this recent stint.  1.  Where he begged Taker not to wrestle Orton at Wrestlemania XXI and ended up suckering Taker into an RKO.  2.  His run in at Wrestlemania 21 decking Taker with the "Legendary cast."

Otherwise, he didn't do much except Not help Randy's credibilty at all... and apparently be Juvi's travel buddy.

Honestly, I am glad to see him go...other than The Undertaker, Bob Orton was one of the bigger factors in killing Randy Orton's credibility, in my humble opinion.
