The ECW World Championship will once again be on the line when ECW on Sci Fi is live from Minneapolis.

Last night on RAW, Big Show challenged RAW's Ric Flair to a match tonight for the Championship. Show reminded Flair that he is the only man to hold the ECW, WCW and WWE Championships and asked Flair if he had one more left in him. The "Nature Boy" accepted, but when he turned his attention to Paul Heyman, Big Show left him laying after a vicious Cobra Clutch Backbreaker.

So tonight, it will be the ECW Champion vs. the 16-time World Champion in the main event. Will Big Show's rampage continue, or will Flair become the second man to complete the golden trifecta.

RAW's sultry Playboy cover girl, Candice Michelle, will also be in the house in Minneapolis. Last night on WWE.com Unlimited, Paul Heyman invited her to come have a Dance-Off against the beautiful Kelly, but Candice told him that she'd rather dance WITH the gorgeous exhibitionist.

No matter how you slice it, whatever happens between the delicious Diva and the vivacious Vixen is sure to be hot.

So, be sure to tune into ECW on Sci Fi tonight at 10/9 CT to see what happens.

I think Foley may have something to do with the main event...I'm guessing an inteference to screw Naich out of the title, which will then set up their feud even furthur. I hope we get to see more of CM Punk...wwervin

That right there is a huge reason as to why I will be watching the show tonight. I missed last weeks addition, but was able to catch the CM Punk thing thanks to users on this board, and simply got hyped up for him just from that considering I've never seen the guy. I wish the guy would just debut this week!

I'm sure Foley will have some sort of role in the match, as you mentioned, furthering there feud for the future. I doubt it, but I have a feeling that Foley might be moving to ECW at some point down the road.

The biggest question mark of tonight's show, how do they fill the 20 minutes of compelling TV that used to be filled by RVD?The_Dude14

I know, Sandman gets 2 opportunities to cane someone this week.

EDIT: I need to not post when I'm so tired. I'm afraid they're going to be giving those duties to the Big Show, and I don't think he will handle it all to well. That or longer expose & more Sandman beatings is all I can think of.

Sad thing is that Big Show match with Ric Flair, will probably be one of the more (and only) things worthy of note, during his title run. Eh... RVD being MIA is already becoming painfully obvious... 

Not exactly the oh-so-promising preview as it has been over the past couple of weeks. No surprise there to be honest -- work it out.

The only interest I have in this show is the follow up of Punk's vignette video from last week. I hope we see a match from him tonight or even more hype towards his debut.

I will be at a def leppard concert, so I wil be skipping this edition, however I don't think I will be missing much :P

the only thing I'm looking forward too is what they do with with CM Punk.

I thought about doing that as well, but I will say this much, if Raw does not improve any before September, they are going to lose ratings big time to Monday Night Football, because if there are some good Monday Night Football games on, I will choose that over Wrestling right now

I was getting ready to ask the same question, and make a similar comment.

Of course, with no RVD, I am expecting nothing at all from the show.

Also, I thought it was nice to hear little bit of "Tommy Dreamer" chant, during his match with Test.... good to see that some of the fans knew he was...

Yet again I missed seeing CM Punk. I turned to see the score of the All-Star game for 2 seconds and turned back to catch him saying his name :(. icytower38

It was nice little promo, however, not really something that was "earth shattering."

A DQ in ECW for using a table...things have sure changed.:P

Pretty good show so far, better than I expected.

Well I guess I could be wrong considering that I've missed so much. But I heard an "old man Flair" chant while the ref was "searching" him.

...And thus, Ric Flair begans to bleed for the 500th time in career...

How was the punk promo this week?

Hmm... that was suprignly entertaining match... Granted, it was some what slow for 2/3 of the match, however, it really picked up in the last few minutes, 1/3 and managed to be farily solid main event...

Also, it was good to hear the ECW chants... *Do not let go* *Thank You Flair*

The main event really surprised me. It was brutal to say the least. Did anyone else notice the thumbtack stuck on the back of Flair's head? He also had them on his knee...ouch. Good show tonight although I had 1 major issue...the whole extreme rules thing. I don't like it. I don't like that Sabu was DQed for going through the table. Well...at least he did it...I liked how Sabu didn't care it wasn't an extreme rules match, that is good...but still...what's the point of Extreme Championship Wrestling without the extreme?wwervin

What can I say? Its WWE: We Wreck Everything...

Edit: Also, to answer your question, yes...I noticed that thumbtack stuck in the back of his head...ouch...
