As reported earlier, TNA President Dixie Carter has had talks with Brock Lesnar about him coming to TNA. Kurt Angle is pushing for TNA to sign Lesnar and has painted TNA in a positive light to Lesnar, playing up TNA's light schedule and working environment.

If a deal is reached, Lesnar would likely come in when Impact moves to two hours. TNA has not finalized their new deal with SpikeTV yet that would make Impact two hours, but it is believed that the deal will be worked out. That would mean that if all deals are reached, TNA could have Impact move to two hours in October and bring Lesnar in then.

Angle apparently talked to Lesnar about coming to TNA back when both of them were in Japan. Lesnar likely came to Nashville a few weeks ago to meet with Dixie Carter.

Lesnar would likely garner a six figure salary with TNA and would still be able to take time off to pursue his MMA career.

Interestingly enough, Lesnar had told some high-ups in WWE earlier this year that he would be willing to come in and do a high profile job at WrestleMania for a big payday, but Vince McMahon turned him down. McMahon is apparently still upset at how Lesnar left WWE and the legal battles that followed.

What about the no-wrestle contract clause when Lesnar left the 'E'?

If I recall, he signed a 10-Year Deal that had in it that he could not work for another promotion for the duration of that contract, which would be some time roughly around 2012-2013. He took it to court to be able to work in Japan and won, but I was under the impression that he'd still be under that deal in the US. If he were to join up with TNA, WWE would probably go after that in court.

Signing Lesnar would be flushing money down the toilet for TNA, which'd be nothing new for them.

Brock is a great talent but has become a bit of a cocky ego-maniac, I mean his law suit with WWE and his big MMA fight hype or whatever, bottom line either way Brock would be used for a year or two and then bugger off back to Japan.

TNA will pay any former WWE star a sack of money to rip on WWE. I hope TNA signs him to a huge contract.
