My vote goes to Bret Hart vs Owen Hart in a Steel Cage Match at Summerslam 1994. It was over 40 minutes and it was probably one of best cage matches ever. Nobody ever talks about it. I guess so because it happened so long ago and at that time the two Undertaker storyline was being hyped up so much into the spotlight while the Hart vs Hart feud was pushed below...

  1. HBK vs Steve Austin, Wrestlemania 14. I loved this match, but its rarely talked about as one of the great matches in Wrestlemania history, even though it should, IMO. I gained a lot of respect for Shawn Michaels, who was visibly in pain throughout the match, due to his bad back, yet still put on a hell of a performance. Also, this is where Austin's era hit high gear.
  2. Rob Van Dam vs Tommy Dreamer, Raw 2002. The final match of the Hardcore title was just plain awesome, as Tommy and Robbie V really put together a good match that seems to have been forgotten by history.
  3. Bret Hart vs Owen Hart, Wrestlemania X. This was a terrific contest that has been overshadowed by the Michaels-Razor Ladder match, and Bret's title victory later that night. However, they put on a great match, even if it doesn't get the recognition it deserves.
  4. Rob Van Dam vs Randy Orton, Raw 2003. Many look at Orton's match with Foley at Backlash as his breakout performance, however, this match was where Orton proved himself to me. This was a great match, better than their PPV match, where Orton showed a nice aggressive streak (and was also knocked goofy in the early stages, but still put on a good performance). While Orton got the victory, both Orton and Van Dam came out of the match looking good.
  5. Bret Hart vs Mr. Perfect, Summerslam 1991. Bret picks up his first singles title, beating the perfect one in an outstanding technical contest. Both men were on top of their game for this match.

1. Austin vs. The Rock at Wrestlemania XV: Truly awesome and probably one of the best Wrestlemania matches in between the two, by many forget about this match and it is over shadowed by their wrestlemania XVII match. The match was full of drama and great story-line/feud between the two, and had one of the best finishes ever.

2. Randy Orton vs. RVD: Probably one of the best IC championship matches I have seen and probably the best Raw match of 2003. Orton truly showed in this match he could put on a great match and he has good ability in the ring. Both men put on great show and both showed they had ablity that they could wrestle in a main event. Truly, this was Orton's break-out match of his career and RVD showed great talent as usual

3. Chris Benoit vs. Brock Lesnar for the WWE championship at SD 2003. Match rarely talked about, but was my personal favroite SD match of that year and was another great example that Chris Benoit is great wrestler and he could wrestle in the main event. The match was full drama and me on the edge of my seat, even though I knew the result from reading the spoilers. When match is great enought to entertain me and put me on the edge of my seat, even thought I know the results, it show its greatness.

4. Triple-Treat Ladder match at Wrestlemania XVI between the Hardys vs. Dudleyz vs E &C: my personal favorite match between the three groups and truly one the best ladder matches ever seen, but is always over shadow by their WM 17 match, that is why is underrated IMHO.

5. Jannety vs. Angle: probably one of my favorite matches of the year, as Jannety showed he could still wrestle great and the two men flowed very nice together. The match was full of drama and me of the edge of my seat, start to end and awesome match.

I don't know if this is the most underrated match ever, but
Lita vs Trish- Raw 12-6-04
It was the second ever woman's main event in the history of RAW and did not disappoint. Lita and Trish gave it their best and showed. The HOLY **** moment of the match had to be where Lita's head snapped back when she performed the Suicide Dive. Near the end their were a ton of near falls that kept you on the edge of your seats. It was great match, and the best women's match ever.
