Possible title change? DX and baseball? *possible spoilers*

Last night at a Pittsburgh Pirates Game, when the Pirates came up to bat in the bottom of the first, the music of De-generation X played while featuring footage of fans behind it and the DX barcode running with it. At the end of it they showed a picture of the all star symbol with the DX letters sprayed on top of it. At this point it is not announced that DX will be at an All Star Game next weekend, but this must indicate something. (Thanks to reader Chris Miller for passing that note.

Noted in Calender section in the latest edition of the WWE Magazine, it states that John Cena will be defending his WWE Championship at SummerSlam. The only scheduled match that features John Cena in WWE championship bout would be the one that will take place at Saturday Night’s Main Event which would mean he would have to win it at this event. (Thanks to reader Nate for sending that along.)

As long as they turn him heel, fine. But Jesus, how he's STILL a babyface after all this time is beyond me. The argument that he moves too much merchandise to be turned is a moot one, since plenty of heels move or have moved merchandise. Triple H, for one. Hell, The Rock crossed into the mainstream as a heel. And hey, if you're worried about losing your younger John Cena fans (which is a plausible concern, considering that they are just as much a part of the audience as the 18 - 35 year old demographic is), they'll simply have a guy to hate! With good reason, much like how Hogan turned his back on all the little Hulkamaniacs in 1996. Last time i checked, that ended up being one of the most successful and attention grabbing angles of all time. So NOW, not only does the 18 - 35 year old demographic hate the guy, ALL the demographics have a reason to hate him. The Cena fans AND the Cena haters. More people hating him = more people paying to see him get his *** kicked. It's not like the people are just all of a sudden going to stop paying attention to the guy once he's turned heel. (unless you book it that way) 

It's a win-win situation. No matter how anyone spins it, it makes no sense whatsoever NOT to turn him heel.

He has this one blog up there where he starts whyning about how people expect him to turn heel but he won't because he "doesn't need to be a bad guy to wrestle, he'll overcome the odds even though people doubt him" and blah blah blah...if you are a fellow "face" Cena hater you do not want to read that, you'll wanna stop watching wrestling all together.wwervin

I think John Cena winning the WWE title is possible...likely...however, not something that is for sure...not yet, anyhow. SummerSlam is about 7 weeks away (more or less), so obviously...things could cage... Card subject to change...remember?

Maybe the Cena bit was a typo. C is kinda near to E, and Edge and Cena both have 4 letters in each name. If he does win, then he can't make it past Summerslam with the belt. Can he?
