Edge vs. Kane in Stretcher Match
July 25, 2005

Edge and Kane have been at each other’s throats for months now. Ever since Lita helped Edge defeat her husband Kane in the Gold Rush tournament in May, these two Superstars have been trying to literally end each other’s career. Lita rubbed it in Kane’s face, threw her wedding ring down the toilet and got her marriage annulled. Edge and Lita then tried to get married live on RAW, but Kane did his best to ruin their big night. The Big Red Monster came out on top in their match at Vengeance as well, but the score was not entirely settled. They met again last week on RAW, this time in a steel cage. Thanks to the use of his trusty briefcase, Edge came out on top, but will he have the last laugh? This week the two bitter enemies will face off once again, this time in a Stretcher Match. Plus, John Cena overcame all odds and defeated Snitsky in a lumberjack match. RAW GM Eric Bischoff tried to stack the odds against Cena by hand-picking the lumberjacks, but Cena still came out on top. This week Chris Jericho will try to upstage Cena in a Battle of the Bands.

Also, things are heating up in the 2005 Diva Search Contest. Last week Simona went home leaving Kristal, Elisabeth, Summer, Cameron, Leyla and Ashley. Who will go home next? You decide! Go to http://divavote.wwe.com/ to vote for your favorite contestant

On WWE.com it says that Edge and Kane are having a stretcher match on Raw tommorow. Too bad Hardy's going to interfere. I want to see Edge on a stretcher.mja2k3

Well don't expect it to be half of what the Lesnar vs The Big Show was like a couple of years ago. It should be good though.hbk91

the ring breaking? yeah, that was almost as good as when kane and undertaker double chokeslammed kane thru the ring apron (or was it undertaker and big show, or kane and bigshow, can't remember, i'm 90% sure it's BOD)...but anyways....:roll:

Why has Edge vs Kane become Raw's version Eddie vs Mysterio? It could be good. I was surprised by their Cage match effort, but I would have liked to see them take a break from this played out match-up. Also, I hope they don't do a Hardy run-in through the crowd again. Please, come up with something new this week.

Between the *sigh* Battle of the Bands and *muttered curses* Diva Search, this Raw is looking like another sleeper.

I was surprised by their Cage match effort, but I would have liked to see them take a break from this played out match-up. Also, I hope they don't do a Hardy run-in through the crowd again. Please, come up with something new this week.

Yes, please come up with some new WWE for Edge-Matt-Lita story-line, it would be a real shame if they did not follow-up that great writing and start to take the story-line in new direction. While Kane and Edge do have good matches together, this is become over kill and as you said: Raw's version of Rey vs. Eddie.

Yea, I am a big John Cena fan and I like Y2J, but battle of the bands is not exactly my idea of a good time. Of course, the RDS will easily be the worse part of Raw, by a mile. Is this even a wrestling show anymore?

On the bright side, I am going to have plenty of bathroom breaks during this edition of Raw, LOL!

Well, I am sure Raw will be good/decent overall, calling it a sleeper is little ruff IMHO. But it looks SmackDown might be better than Raw for second straight week, I cannot believe I am saying that. I agree, Raw needs to pick up the pace! After all, Raw is post to be the #1 wrestling show and Raw is post to be the flagship brand. In another words, Raw should usual be better than SmackDown, that is why Raw is post to be the flagship brand. I mean, look at the roster Raw has compared to SmackDown, they need to start using better IMHO.

I doubt it'll be as bad as last week. Last week promos went on forever, I mean, 1 match within 1 1/2 hours is crazy.

I am staying up again tonight to watch this. I want to see Kerwin White wrestle so I can get to see his ring attire and entrance theme! :P
