Wow...SummerSlam is like a month from now. I think we should stick to GAB for now and come back to this thread after GAB.

I wonder if Bishoff will change the Main event to an EC because John Cena F-Ued him.

You can pretty much go ahead and pencil in Hogan vs Michaels.

I can't really express how happy I am to see Jericho getting the main event spotlight on one of WWE's big time PPVs. Too bad that I really don't see him winning, unless the crowd turns on Cena in massive (which I can see happening, Y2J has that effect on people, the Rock can attest to that). I'm also hoping that this main event stays one on one.

Hopefully the Smackdown main event will NOT involve either JBL or Taker this time around, after last year's sleep inducing match.

I also hope RVD will be involved, but I'm thinking his knee won't be ready to go in time to build a match.

i think Hogan will beat HBK, because the wwe always has Hogan win, and Cena will lose the title to a more worthy Champion, the King of Bling Bling, Chris Jericho!

I think safely say that I will be in the small minority cheering for John Cena to win, but am very happy to see Y2J getting the push for the WWE championship that he should get, about time WWE! While I want Cena to win, I would also not be upset to see Y2J win. Infact, I would be very happy to see Y2J be WWE champion again, after 3 plus years.

Man, they push wrestlers such as JBL, yet put wrestlers such as Y2J, Benoit and RVD to the side, okay?

HBK is going to win. I can recall reading articles a few months ago stating Piper would manage HBK in the future. Seeing how he got involved last week he could interfere in the match and cost Hogan the match turning Piper into a heel along with HBK receiving a higher heel status. If Hogan wins with that leg drop well all of what Michaels has done drops too. I hope Shawn wins this...

I agree 100%, why would Piper care about HBK Super-Kicking Hulk Hogan, since Hogan and Piper were always big rivals (esepcially during the 1980's)?

Yea, I want HBK to win too, it would make him look weak to lose to Hogan, it would make more sense to have HBK win. But I hope Piper would not become HBK's manager, HBK does not need a manager IMHO, he is HBK! If anything, it should only be a short-term deal, rather than a long term situation.

didn't shelton win the IC belt from him? or was that edge maybe? i don't remember who it was.

and about hogan and michaels, i think hbk is going to carry hogan until he hulks up, does the big kick, and TRIES the leg drop but hbk gets up and Sweet Chin Music's him. that would be an awesome finish.

It has been over 3 years since Chris Jericho has been the WWE Champion. He lost the WWE championship to Triple H at Wrestlemania 18in a lack-luster main-event IMHO. Hopefully, if he does win the WWE championship again, he makes his second WWE championship run a better one though.

Egde beat Orton for the IC championship at Veageance 2004.

Than, Edge lost the IC championship, because he did not defend for 30 days, because of an arm ingury.

Than, Christian faced Y2J in a ladder match at Unforgiven 2004 to see who would become the new IC champion; Y2J won!

Than, Y2J lost the IC championship to Shelton Benjamin at Tabbo Tuesday 2004 and you should remember the rest now.

well he's ACTUALLY held three belts in the WWE, if you count his 20 minute reign as WCW world champ and his reign as WWF champ before the belts were unified so he was the Unified champ. so i guess that means 3 title reigns? or not?

oh and here's a little trivia, his last title reign was in 2003 when he beat RVD for the IC belt.

Actually, he is 2 time former WCW champion and one-time former WWE champion, being both WCW and WWE champion does not count as anohter title reign IMHO. So altogether, he is 3 time Wold Champion (2 WCW +1 WWE).

Actually, Y2J's last title reign was in 2004, when Shelton Benjamin beat him for the IC championship at Taboo Tuesday in October of 2004.

His last WWE champioship title reign (or any World Championship reign) was at Wrestlemania 18, in 2002, against Triple H.

His last IC championship reign was in 2004 at Taboo Tuesday against Shelton Benjamin (last time he had any championship in the WWE period), so what do you mean by this? "er i meant last time he GOT a title was 2003. my bad."

I have that feeling that Hogan will actually win the match at Summerslam cause I mean it's Hogan's "last match", so most likely he'll finish strong. I might be another one to join the few people that say Cena will win cause Cena pretty much has the crowd on his side, but to me it won't matter who wins it.

I have that feeling that Hogan will actually win the match at Summerslam cause I mean it's Hogan's "last match", so most likely he'll finish strong. I might be another one to join the few people that say Cena will win cause Cena pretty much has the crowd on his side, but to me it won't matter who wins it.Demohiei

I hope that is not the case, that would hurt HBK's push to become a heel. Besides, why does Hogan need the win? He will probably leave the WWE, either win or lose, after his Summer Slam 2005 match. It would make much more sense to have Shawn win, that way it makes Shawn heel character look strong and will I really doubt Hogan's character would get hurt from the loss. So, if WWE is smart, they will have Shawn win the match.

Well, looks like SD! main event gonna be big, with Lesner returning, the Undertaker the No. 1 contender, and JBL will obviously slither his way into the main event.

Christain, JBL, UT, Brock, Bastia, Benoit

If Cena loses, he will turn heel which is what I am looking forward to.

It'd be awesome, but isn't Elemination Chamber Raw property? Meaning it can't be on Smackdown?

It should be Kane and Matt Hardy vs. Edge and Gene Snitscky w/ Lita in a Ladder match

Could be. I simply read it on one of the forums (I don't remember which).
