I expect PPV buys to be lowKotenks

In WWE's defense, imagine Batista's return to pay-per-view will help... Obviously, nothing on large scale...and imagine the buyrates will still be in the 200,000 range, however, I am sure his appearance....his return will certainly help manners...

Don't be fooled by the current match up displayed above.

The GAB PPV has looks like it will take a 180 turn into being a possible spectacular show. Maybe the saying third time's a charm comes into play here since the last two GABs were utter flops.

This year's PPV has a lot of potential. Just watch this week's SD! to find out more. 4 matches have been announced on there, two of them might actually be worth getting the show.

I doubt it will be changed into a certain match type / stipulation. Unless the WWE has plans to push a programme between the two following the Great American Bash, I think the match will remain as a normal match type.

You never know though. Revenge is the name of the game and I am sure the WWE could probably add more substance to make their match worth watching.

The card for this I have a feeling is going to be very weak.

I probably won't buy it.

I do think this PPV has a chance to be a decent to good show. However, I don't think I will be ordering it mainly because of the raised PPV prices.

Well, there's certainly evidence to support this (the last two GABs), the low-ass ratings Smackdown has been getting hasn't really screwed with the buyrates too much.  No Way Out managed to outdraw Backlash, wven though they were both low.  However, this could be the first PPV where the new price could break it.  Still, there's some potential on the card, especially with its Title match...

But, this:

hbk91

Has to be one of the stupidest looking things I've seen in a while.

MORE MATCHES OFFICIALLY ANOUNCED

At the Great American Bash, Rey Mysterio will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against King Booker…and less than 2 hours after earning the opportunity, the challenger sent a message to the champion.

On the July 7 SmackDown, King Booker last eliminated William Regal and Matt Hardy to win a Battle Royal, a victory that gave him the right to face Mysterio on July 23. Later that night, the challenger was waiting backstage as Mysterio was helped to the back following an attack by Mark Henry.

As soon as Mysterio stepped through the curtain, Booker pounced and sent the World Champion reeling. After slamming him into tables, equipment trunks and anything else he could find, Booker let Sharmell get the last blow. The Queen kicked Mysterio in the groin, and the royal couple slinked away as officials tended to the fallen Champion.

Of course, one has to wonder if Booker’s royal Court will be lurking at ringside waiting to help him become the World Champion. Can Mysterio overcome everything and keep his dream alive on July 23, or will the King walk out of Indianapolis with some new bling around his waist?

At The Great American Bash, Undertaker may be up against the toughest challenge of his career when he faces The Great Khali in a Punjabi Prison Match.

Of course, no one other than Khali (and maybe Daivari) even knows what a Punjabi Prison Match actually is. That in itself gives Khali a huge advantage, but that is only multiplied by the psychological advantage Khali has had since destroying Undertaker at The Great American Bash.

For weeks, Khali has been mocking Undertaker by using his signature taunts, even going so far as to put Gunner Scott in a body bag on SmackDown. Finally, after weeks of disappearance, Undertaker “returned” on July 7.

Following Khali’s match with Tatanka, the monster intended to put the Native American Warrior in a casket. However, when the tomb was opened, smoke billowed out and the lights in the arena dimmed. With his voice filling the arena, the Deadman accepted Khali’s Punjabi Prison challenge and told the monster that he would rest in peace.

At Judgment Day, The Great Khali shocked everyone when he defeated Undertaker. Can he make it two in a row on July 23, or will the Deadman send Khali to his own Punjabi Prison?

For weeks, Bobby Lashley has incessantly fought off King Booker and his royal Court. But to keep his United States Championship, Lashley will have to defeat two members of the Court, William Regal & Finlay, in a Triple Threat Match on July 23.

The match was announced on the July 7 SmackDown, and it will be every man for himself. In fact, Finlay reminded William Regal of this backstage…but of course, one would have to think that they will work together to take out the common enemy. And on top of that, Little Bastard is sure to be lurking around at ringside to make Lashley’s predicament that much worse.

While he has defeated almost everyone that has gotten in his path, Lashley seems to be in jeopardy on July 23. Can he overcome the odds and defeat both Regal & Finlay, or will one of King Booker’s loyal subjects walk out of Indianapolis with the gold?

It's a cage match but the cage is made entirely of Indian cuisine.

This card is shaping up to highly entertaining. The Triple Threat looks solid, which I hope Regal wins. The Punjabi Prison match could be half decent if we see 1990s Undertaker back to his charismatic-self (Yes, he was). Batista/Henry looks slow but if Batista comes out of it the winner then it should change my mind. The World Title looks nice as well. I might just settle down to see it.

Well here's some good news for fellow fans in the UK...

Looks like we've got this one for free this time round. It is ironic though seeing how we had to pay for the last two GAB PPVs, and they were utter crap, while this year's one looks surprisingly promising and it's FREE!

I think the PPV card looks decent so far. I wonder if the Punjabi Prision match is going to be interesting. I picture it to be HIAC like match, but I dunno. Other matches that could make it's way onto the card, based on what I've seen go down on Smackdown!, are the following: 1. WWE Tag Team Championshjip: Paul London and Brian Kendrick vs. The Pitbulls (Jamie Noble and Kid Kash) 2. Psicosis vs. Super Crazy vs. Gregory Helms for the Crusierweight Championship 3. Matt Hardy vs. Ken Kennedy for the Number One Conternder to the U.S. Title

In rare instance, this case where I want The Undertaker to not only win, but also, burry his opponent... And on that note, putting this into cage should upgrade this match from abysmal, into terrible, so that is plus... I guess...

Booker-Mysterio should make for solid championship match... I do not believe these have been in match against each other, not recent history, anyhow, so this certainly should make for fresh element...

Lashly-Finlay-Regal, so far, looks to be SHOT/MOTN...

Henry-Batista certainly should be kept short...no longer than 8 minutes... Also, am I the only one who is afraid managment will make this main event for the night?

I don't think the issue is all about Batista but more about Henry. Seriously, as The_Dude14 has stated on numerous occasions, if Angle can't beat out a good match out of Henry, "Kurt freakin' Angle", then really on one will be able to either.

All in all, this PPV has BIG potential to be a huge success, regardless of the odd couple of matches or so that let the card down on paper.

Thats basically what I have been feeling for so long now. I had a feeling that No Way Out 2006 was gonna be something good or very good, but almost everybody s*** on it. Just saying stuff like "Taker's in the main event so its gotta be crap" and all that. Unfortunetly, for the people who s*** on it, Angle vs Taker was a  4 1/2 star match, which even Samoa Joe vs AJ couldnt do.

Anyways, I dont see that much potential. WWE usually doesnt give the cruiserweights alot of time on matches, and so goes for Hooligans vs Pitbulls. Even if they do have alot of time, mostly the crowd kills it cause they'd rather see Cena 'wrestle' than the cruiserweights ( or even RVD and Kurt Angle :| ). Anything with Henry is crap nowadays, and Khali vs Taker is always Wrestlecrap-worthy.

Why should I or anybody else feel sorry for somebody, who is stupid enough to order a WWE PPV right now, regardless of who is involved? Because I sure as hell do not, if somebody is dumb enough to think, that they are getting a great PPV, more power to their uneducated brain

Yeah I know, God forbid someone by a PPV and actually have a different OPINION on the PPV than you do, and enjoy watching it, right? People have different tastes, you shouldn't call someone "uneducated" for ordering a WWE PPV.

Well for one, why should I waste my money with the WWE's horrible product right now? Not many of us would say, that the WWE's PPV's are worth ordering right now

When the WWE is in better shape and starts showing a commitment to improving their product, that is when me and other people will start to order PPV's again, but not until then

Well speaking of the Bash, what is your favorite match from this PPV (dating from the WCW days)? I say the best of seven series with Booker T and Chris Beniot. It was in 1998, I believe and it was Booker night to win this final battle and went on to face Finlay for the TV Title and actually capturing the Title.
