Looks like we've got this one for free this time round. It is ironic though seeing how we had to pay for the last two GAB PPVs, and they were utter crap, while this year's one looks surprisingly promising and it's FREE!

Either way, if this PPV was on Sky Box Office, I'd sure as hell order the show for £14.95. The final card of the PPV should look extremely promising offering hopes and potential to becoming a well-worthy PPV. Yet again, "if"... :lol:

This year line-up doesn't look as bad compare to the previous WWE GAB PPV's. I'm also going to predict that they are going to add the following matches on the card:

Psicosis vs. Super Crazy or it could turn into a Triple Threat match adding Helms in there for the Curiserweight Championship

Divas Tag Team Match: Ashley and Jillian vs. Kristal and Michelle McCool

That's what I've been hearing lately, but couldn't confirm any of it. Sounds like it could be an ok match, but probably will still end up as bad.

Late in 2005, Mark Henry was brought back to SmackDown to take out Batista. He accomplished that mission in the short term, but The World’s Strongest Man didn’t quite finish the job. After six months on the shelf, The Animal is back and was slated to be looking for revenge against Mark Henry at The Great American Bash.

But all of that changed when Henry fractured his patella at Saturday Night's Main Event. While it is unknown how long Henry will be out of action, it is confirmed that he will not be able to compete at The Great American Bash. So, without an opponent, the Animal Batista issued an open challenge at The Bash press conference.

On SmackDown, the open challenge was answered. Mr. Kennedy interrupted General Manager Theodore Long's address and offered to replace Mark Henry at The Great American Bash. The Animal accepted and Long made the match official. At the Bash, it will be The Animal and Mr. Kennedy, one-on-one.

As reported on WWE.com, Lashley will not be able to compete at The Great American Bash. Thus, the United States Championship will be decided in a one-on-one contest between the champion Finlay and his fellow Court member, William Regal.

Despite their affiliation, Finlay and Regal have both stated that on Sunday, it will be every man for himself and each will do whatever it takes to leave Indianapolis as U.S. Champion.

Little Bastard is sure to be lurking around at ringside to make Regal's championship quest much more difficult.

This Sunday at The Great American Bash, SmackDown Divas Ashley, Jillian, Kristal and Michelle McCool will show off some skin as they compete in a Four-Way Diva Bra & Panties Match.

Ever since Ashley has come to SmackDown from RAW, Kristal has shown a jealous streak stemming from Ashley winning last year’s Diva Search Competition. Kristal has proven that she belongs in WWE as one of the hottest women on television, but the fact that Ashley finished first in the competition has definitely left a bad taste in Kristal’s mouth.

Things came to a head during the July 14 edition of SmackDown in which all four Divas were involved in a chaotic backstage brawl. Bodies were sprawling and clouds of make-up filled the air as they battled it out in front of the Diva dressing room mirror.

This past week on SmackDown, Ashley and Jillian teamed up to take on Kristal and McCool. Kristal once again showed her jealous side and exposed a mean streak that we hadn’t seen from her since she became a SmackDown Diva as she pulled Ashley’s hair numerous times and verbally taunted her in the ring. In the end, though, Ashley and Jillian came away with the victory after Ashley pinned Kristal.

It will be every Diva for herself come The Great American Bash. Who will be the winner of the Four-Way Diva Bra & Panties Match? Will Kristal walk away victorious and gain some revenge on Ashley? Will Ashley win once again and get the best of Kristal? Can Jillian or Michelle McCool climb the Diva ranks with a victory? Wow, I thought that post was about Lashley by the title name. Kind of ruins the special match now, maybe they can carry it over to ECW ppv's and use that special match for their future ppvs. Sort of claim it for their own.

This PPV still looks good despite the loss of several Smackdown! Superstars. I'm sure the PPV will do good. As for the Bash, 6 matches are on there, and I think they will need to add another match to make the PPV solid. Well as I said in the SD thread, I was dead tired when it was on. But I could of sworn that during the Psicosis/Super Crazy match he said he would be defending the title at the Bash.

I suspect that WWE has known about these test results a little longer than implied in the two stories.  There's just a little too much coincidence in taking the title off Lashley and putting it on Finlay and the nearly inexplicable involvement of Big Show in Khali-Undertaker.  The_Dude14

Perhaps... certainly good timing on their part...to say the least...

Also...if that is indeed the case...than why in the world would they not switch plans...build...lot sooner...? I mean...you would think that they would want to prepare the viewing audience on television for change on the card and.... Oh wait...this WWE I am talking about... never mind...
